Two new games. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest returns to the list at 15 (making the SNES Donkey Kong Country trilogy complete again) and Bomberman Hero enters at 17 for the first time since it's release two weeks ago. It comes at the expense of Super Mario Kart (14 last week) and Sonic the Hedgehog (18 last week).

The biggest climber is Mario Kart 64 with five spots from 15 to 10. The biggest dropper is Donkey Kong with five as well from 16 to 11.

I wonder how high Final Fantasy III will get in the charts.

I don't know. In the Netherlands, Final Fantasy II didn't get further then spot 12.

Mario Party 2 sure dropped quickly after it's VC release here in America. Lately, new releases don't seem to make much impact on the top 20. But, with FF VI's popularity here in the US, I imagine it'll be permanent top 20, if not top 10! May even take the top spot briefly, until settling in at a lower spot while SMB 3 retakes it's usual place on top.

Three new games this week. I have been proven wrong about Final Fantasy III. It enters at the second spot. An exceptional accomplishment for a non Mario game. Other newcomers are the return of Yoshi's Story at 17 and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars at 19.

This means we have to say goodbye to:

• Pac-Man (18 last week)
• Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (19 last week) - There goes all the VC DKC's in one list.

Only movement PERIOD was Super Smash Bros (17, up 2) and Paper Mario (19, down 2) switching places! No movement = few people getting VC games, because they're getting 3DS & games (I guess). On a side note, CAN'T WAIT till 3DS eShop has opened and has enough titles to do the Top 20 (or Top 5, 10, 15, 17, whatever)! Wonder what the fixture number one will be there? Pokemon Red/Blue when/if it's released? Of course in the beginning, I imagine it'll be The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX.

hmmm. Maybe Final Fantasy III/VI (damn, wish they'd just called it what it is, VI) will be the one to finally dethrone SMB 3 around the world (insert demented Kefka laugh!!!)! If only temporarily.

Well SMB3 have been dethroned a couple of times, but it was mostly shortlived and I don't see Final Fantasy III going strong long time.
