The Koei strategy games are somewhat interesting to me, but given I don't enjoy Avalon Hill-style strategy games, I'm not sure I'd get much out of them. I'm happy with the VC content in PAL and Japan for now.

@Chibi Link: There are 319 titles in Europe and 299 in Australia. The NL VC list shows Final Fight 2 and Zombies Ate My Neighbours twice.

Wonder if Nintendo will release Super Mario Kart on Friday as the 300th title for Australia? :)

So, does anyone know if there are perhaps legal reasons as to why we don't have C64 games in Australia? Does the company own the copyright in every single other country in the world except Australia or something?

Updated Lists.

So it seems the US is nearly at 350 games (currently 348). I wonder if they are planning anything special for the 350th game?

Hopefully, if its a good game, Australia doesn't have to wait to hit 350. We are only on 310, and it will take us approx 1 and a half years to get to 350 at the current rate of 1 game every 2 weeks.

I want Final Fantasy and I think it would be nice if SE got more games on the VC quicker. IT'd be even better if they localised a few Japan exclusive games too(but that'll never happen).

Wow we're really falling behind the US here in the UK now - I remember when it was practically even. I hope they're not saving Mario Kart for the 350 release here because that'd mean we wont even get it until 2011!

I've wanted Super Mario Kart and Indiana Jones since I first got my Wii. It's been an agonising wait for them to be released here. Luckily there are plenty of other games around to keep me occupied in the mean time.

Agreed. Lucky I got SEGA Racing today to tie me over for a long time for Mario Kart.

I know how you feel because I actually bought my Wii for Mario Kart (not sole reason, mind). I didn't realise it wasn't a VC launch game and had a disappointing search for it on there almost 3 years ago. Still waiting...
