if you click the link to the IGN source for TMNT IV, it seems to be actually for the Re-Shelled version, and says 'NOTE: This game is not scheduled for release on Wii.' also, the IGN source for TMNT II is apparently the ESRB website, which has been known to be wrong in the past.
long story short, ymmv.

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Didn't I make a thread called "Okay, the Wikipedia Virtual Console "Coming Soon" List is ****." already? You've should had listened. I knew I should had gotten rid of that list.
I was all stoked for this! I have 800 points lying around, and I would have had a perfect excuse to use them.
Now I'm just really sad... SCREW YOU WIKIPEDIA! SCREW YOU FOR GETTING MY HOPES UP ONLY TO LET ME COME CRASHING BACK DOWN TO EARTH!

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I don't buy it. Where's TMNT 3? Doesn't make sense to skip over that one. Then again, Konami did go straight to Super Castlevania 4 and didn't give us Castlevania 3 until MUCH later...
Trust me; Wikipedia isn't a useful tool to trust when it comes to video game releases! It's useful as an empty bottle of rum... BTW WHY IS THE RUM GONE, LOL?! stands up feeling wobbly OH That's why, LOL!
Reason why is because they never even brought the NES TMNT 2 to the VC; & way back then I was POed that they ERSB dropped that... thankfully I got over it a long freaking time ago!
But anyway... Just because Konami or Ubisoft think they can cancel the WiiWare version doesn't mean that they have a full hold of their TMNT license! So I'm not in the least a bit surprised!
Turtles in Time will come to the VC eventually though; I've had my patience wear thin over time that I just don't care anymore!
But my only guess is that Turtles in Time might have a new window of oppurtunity if it ever gets released on the VC this year of 2009!
So I'm just throwing out a wild in between date guess: Somewhere in between July 22 (when the XBox360 ReShelled version comes out); & until the end of September.. or maybe later until the end of the year possibly if they like drag it out that is!
Yeah, Wiki isn't a reliable source at all unfortunately. I'm hoping that Konami throws us a bone and decides to give us this game (the SNES version preferably) anyway. We'll see.

There's one little problem with that suggestion. Ubisoft has the TMNT license and they have supported no games on the Virtual Console, so unless Konami can get premission to use those licensed games on the Virtual Console, we're at Ubisoft mercy.
