Yeah, I know. But think about it. GBA games on a big screen! Mario Kart Advance on the Wii/Wii U Virtual Console, along with like a hundred others.

I doubt it will happen, but yeah I would love to see handheld games make their way onto the Wii U VC.

Well if you really want that all you have to do is get a Gamecube and a Gameboy advance player.

That's fine for single player games, but the Game Boy Advance Player doesn't support more than one player though. Still, thanks for reminding me that exists.

Ah I didnt know that but up until a few days ago I never had the chance to play the GBA player. Thats good to know of course all the GBA games I own are single player.

It does have a link port (though of course that would require a GBA and possible an extra copy of the game).

I have to admit, I like Double Dragon III better than Double Dragon II.

Wow, you're one of the few Ryno. Most people have the same view of Double Dragon 3 as the AVGN. As for how I rank the Double Dragon games, I prefer them in this order: Double Dragon 2, Double Dragon Advance, Double Dragon 1, Double Dragon 3. I never really got to play Super Double Dragon but I'm sure it's better than 3.

Yeah PoorVGameNerd, I was playing both of them last night and I surprised myself. The spin kick is easier to pull off in DDIII.

My order is Double Dragon (mainly because of nostalgia is it ranked first), Super Double Dragon, Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones, Double Dragon II: The Revenge and I have never played Advance. I got to be the only guy who has Double Dragon II ranked last!

Double Dragon 3 isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I bought my copy around 2003-2004 and regretted it after 5 minutes of playing. I felt exactly the way the AVGN did, but I later figured out how to play and now I am glad I bought it. The only thing that is truly horrible is the end boss. She's so ridiculously powerful.

I have to agree with you on the music. There are a few tracks that are pretty memorable.

I thought this was shovelware at first, consider how much I HATED the first game because of no co op, and that stupid Chibi mode.

But I'm glad this has co-op multiplayer. Now to go buy it when I get wii points! Can't believe I thought it was bad.

you mean the chronic utilization of the other characters?

No, I meant moving up and down to avoid attacks and separating the enemies from each other. Divide and conquer. I prefer to use Billy most of the time, but Chin Seimei's four hit combo is amazing. The only part I really need the ninja for is the beginning of Mission 5. Those jumps at the beginning are really easy thanks to his incredible jumping skills. It's too scary to use anyone else at that part.

The music is pretty good. The song when you get out the Double D Dojo in the U.S. is vintage NES chip tune classic goodness with a hint of Marianberry on top. You should definitely give it another whirl. It's pretty cheap overall and you got the skillz to handle it.

yeah ill eventually get the nes and genesis one, i remember playing the genesis one as well, it had good music too imo.
theres a rare dd2 mega drive version we never seen in america. theres a sega repro company that takes requests for repro games and it appears they took a liking to my requests, one of the games i suggested just got the usa treatment, im pretty sure we will end up seeing dd2 on a genesis cart soon...

Wow, I think I found something in Double Dragon 3 that everyone else has overlooked. Bimmy is not the only spelling mistake in the game. Technos refers to Billy's girlfriend as "Marion," rather than "Marian," the spelling that had been used in the previous 2 games. Marion is the masculine form of the name. How does a company screw up the names of both the hero and the damsel in distress in their own video game? That would be like Nintendo misspelling Mario and Peach's name in a game. EPIC FAIL.
