Instead of typing "Super Mario Kart" in the upper-left corner of this very site, or just thinking to yourself, "What does every other non-import SNES game cost?" you thought it'd be quicker to post in this thread and wait for someone else to tell you?

Anyway, it's 1351 points.

Finally got my Wii back on the 'net and picked up Mario Kart 64. Liking it a lot!

There is, it's a Super Famicom classic controller. I have one and it's about as authentic a SNES experience as you can get on the Wii.

Plain old gamer :)

Classic Controller > GC Controller for SNES games although I am not sure how much it matters for Mario Kart. If you can get into using the analogue stick instead of D-Pad the button layout won't matter much because you only really need accelerate, items and jump in Mario Kart all of which make sense on a GC controller. Super Mario World, as said, is a different story.... generally I agree with this

As for the AI in Super Mario Kart vs Mario Kart 64. Mario Kart 64 is worse. In Super Mario Kart you can get well ahead of your opposing CPU characters even if they have an endless supply of feathers and ridiculously overpowered items. In Mario Kart 64 the CPU doesn't have the crazy items but they are ALWAYS, even in the easy classes, right on your tail.

Only real advantage of Mario Kart 64 is the four player multi IMO. If that is what you are after but.... grab Mario Kart Wii for a better all round experience. Unless Mario Kart 64 has some sentimental value to you obviously. But then again look at my Avatar.... I am fairly biased.

So I was reading that there is a 5th unlockable circuit in Mario Kart 64? Can anyone confirm/deny if it holds for the VC version as well, and what I need to do to unlock it?

There is just 50, 100, 150, and Mirror.

Or if you were talking about Cups, there is Special Cup unlockable, but I think they rigged the VC version so that it's already unlocked, if I recall correctly.

The same as all the other SNES games on the VC.

Ok. I need to figure out how to race Mirror. Last time I played, I only had the three options of 50, 100, and 150 (if I recall things correctly). I did play the Special Cup already, so yeah it comes unlocked already. Thanks.

Get a gold trophy on all four cups in 50cc, 100cc and 150cc. Mirror Mode will unlock. It's just 150cc but... mirrored. Get all gold trophies in Mirror Mode and the title screen will be a different picture.

It costs the same amount of point this original question had, i.e. very little.
