Topic: Super Mario Bros. problem on VC

Ok, so every so often when I play Super Mario Bros (VC version) Mario suddenly starts to walk to the left but the screen continues to scroll to the right. It doesn't happen every time I play but often enough. It doesn't matter if I use the classic controller or the Wii mote alone. I havent tried with another Wii mote because the thing is that it works perfectly with normal Wii titles like New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Anyone else with this problem?

Yes, I have reconnected the Wii mote to the wii, doesn't solve the problem.

Sounds like your download is glitched.

Have you tried to delete it (and the save data associated with it) and redownload it?

Yeah, I downloaded it again and deleted the save data. No luck.

You say you haven't tried another wiimote? I'd try one anyway and see how often it happens.

hmmm this is puzzling. I would delete it. wait a day or so and then redownload it. If you still have the problem. I would call customer support.

Gosh, there are a lot of problems with games these days...

I had mario float off the screen once in this game. Very strange. My other half caught it happening and asked if it was a new power up. Must be an emulation issue. Extremely odd though.

Super Mario Bros. or The Lost Levels?
The Lost Levels has a super-trampoline that's supposed to do that.

There are auto scrolling level in Super Mario Bros. 3.

I've had problems with SSBB where my Wii thinks I'm moving down or to the left, only way to fix that was to power down the system, but it was probably the WiiMote's doing.
