Did Megaman 64 keep the voices of the original PlayStation game?
As far as I know, yes, it did. It really sucks that they didn't release the other two games (I really want to play The Misadventures Of Tron Bonne...). Also, Legends has one of the most EPIC final boss themes ever!!!
I want to play the Misadventures of Tron Bonne too...I wish they'd do a sequel. The Legends franchise was one of the least milked Megaman lines ever but I want some more milk dammit!
I have played The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Its okay but I went back to it earlier this year and found it had dated quite badly. The adventure section wasn't that exciting and it didn't have smooth enough controls either. I would like to see a modern remake/sequel with improved controls.

Hopefully it is a matter of time that the copyright is out the window.
True, if you live long enough. USA is 70 year + life of creator so remember to take your anti-oxidants religiously!
I think it's not too hard to figure out why there aren't more N64 games, they're the most expensive on the system at 1000 points each. I'm willing to bet the Megadrive, Famicom, SNES and PC Engine games shift a lot more product on price and name recognition alone (remember N64 was the start of Nintendo's slide only reversed by the Wii). The system is recent enough that I expect getting one second-hand shouldn't be too difficult, shirley?
Well they have to remember that if they made it for VC, they will get every bit of that money back for the trouble. Remember, this is a download. Not a game sale.
Nintendo should have already listened to 2 year's worth of complaining, especially on games like Mario Kart, Mother 2, and Super Smash Bros. I think they are getting SO tired about hearing our complaints that they will "summon their Persona"% if they hear those names ONE MORE TIME. Also, as I have read in another article, "hardcore" gamers seems to be non-satisfied with whatever attempt to appease said group (When franchises innovate, the hardcores want a return to the original gameplay; when franchises remain with the original gameplay, the hardcores want innovation!), so Nintendo may have decided to ignore sucha fickle crowd.
Besides, I guess that Nintendo is working on things, yet please remember that Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario Kart, Mother 2, Rondo of Blood, and Star Fox ARE NOT THE ONLY RETRO GAMES LEFT IN EXISTENCE. (Me, I want Mario & Wario to be released, even though the SNES Mouse is needed for thereof.)
% = Be familiar with Persona 3 to get the reference.
Why stop complaining? Nintendo 64 support on the Virtual Console has been absolutely horrible for all region! Even with licensing issues, the potential is being wasted! Why is their only sixteen games on the Virtual Console? And once Super Smash Bros. get released in America, we'll have no more Nintendo 64 games to look forward to. When a console is completely out of games to release on the Virtual Console and it's been poorly supported (At least we have a lot of TurboGrafx-16 game.), you know that system is going to be laughed at by Microsoft fanboys who have no knowledge of the Nintendo 64. Even more disgraceful is that Rare N64 games are being released on the Xbox 360 INSTEAD. What Nintendo needs to do is get some third-party games that doesn't require the Controller Pak to save data, so we wouldn't have to complain so much!
yeah! just think of ALL those N64 games just waiting to be released! such as: Super Smash Brothers Donkey Kong 64 Mario Party 1-2-3 MegaMan 64 Mario Tennis Pokemon Stadium but we'll get all of those games eventually.
to be fair, the number of decent n64 games is a lot lower than decent games for other systems.
Shadowgate 64, Blast Corps, Cruisin' USA, Cruisin' World, Castlvania 64, Top Gear Overdrive, Top Gear Rally, Wave race 64, Ken Girffey Jr. Major League Baseball, Killer Instinct Gold, Aerofighters Assault, Army Men: Sarges' Heroes, Custom Robo, Doom 64, Duke Nukem 64, F1 Pole Position 64, Flying Dragon, Mystical Ninja, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Mission Impossible, Nagano Winter Olympics '98, Nightmare Creatures, Pilotwings 64, Resident Evil 2, Road Rash 64, Wailae Country Club, WINBACK (One of my all time Fav's). I'm sure there are many more great games I missed. N64 has more good games than people think.

The Cruis'n series are not good games. Far from it.
Also, I can see several games on that list that just wouldn't come to the VC for some reason or another even if it was being supported a lot more than it is now.
The N64 does have many great games. But the amount of those games that could in theory come to the VC without being held back by licensing, hardware issues (controller pak not being supported) and other reasons, is actually quite low.

Good lord, I honestly can't name over 10 N64 games that I'd wan't to purchase.... During that generation you really needed to have an N64 + PS1 to get the best of both worlds, if not you were totaly missing out.
Anyways, what about MIschief Makers? Other than that...I can't really name any other title I'd like to see on the VC....Resident Evil 2 would be cool for those who haven't played it. But it's already available on the GCN. And yikes, I never knew there was a Shadowgate 64... How was it?
Shadowgate 64. I've beaten this. In short, it has ambient medieval fantasy flair, good music, good puzzles / no action, a rather big castle to explore. Well, it's just a neat 1st person adventure with decent N64 graphics. Worth it if you like adventures.

Well I can't name 10 that I would like to buy for the Virtual console, but if I could had the money to purchase every nintendo 64 game cartridge, I would do it.
I didn't grow up with the N64, and it didn't seem like a console with a long lifespan to me at the time (I was only 3-4 years old ) so I grew up with a game boy and a PS1. The only N64 game I played as a kid was the original smash bros I borrowed, other than that, I played a couple other N64 games with my best friend who owns one (Gauntlet Legends, 007 Goldeneye, and Perfect Dark) and I've missed out on everything else until the virtual console came around. Now all I have is Smash Bros, OOT, SM64, and Sin & Punishment (I don't really like OOT and SM64 though, early 3D games for the N64 are not my personal favorite, and I dislike the camera and controls)
As soon as I get a 2000 points card I will wait for la mulana and then buy star fox 64 with my leftover points (I have 200 laying around) so I can see why everyone loves it so much. I hope I'll enjoy it, I enjoy rail-shooters. I disliked the trial on Super Smash Bros Brawl, though, so I'll have to wait and see >_>
Why do astronauts backtrack? They forgot the Space Jump Boots.
Guys...listen. Nintendo isn't gonna just simply throw all the N64 games at us alright! Yes i know there is good n64 games to be realesed BUT we can't just get them all at once! guys all those classic N64 games (except rare...maybe) will be realesed. Games such as SSB64,Mario tennis and others will be here in the future but damn we must wait and be patient. remember the n64 wasn't exactly successful and didn't have a huge libary of games (Nintendo practically realesed an n64 game once a month back then). Just be patient. There is lots of consoles on the VC now and nintendo cant focus on the one console.
Its been three years now and we still haven't got the N64 games we want. Can we complain yet?

No, we cannot complain. When the Wii U is at the end of its life and the next Nintendo console has been announced, and there STILL isn't a decent amount of N64 titles on whatever VC it'll have, we can complain. Maybe.
I hope when the Wii U comes out they release a whole bunch of games that they've been holding back on like SMW2, Star Fox, etc. (Or when they decide that they're done with the Wii)
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
