Guys...listen. Nintendo isn't gonna just simply throw all the N64 games at us alright! Yes i know there is good n64 games to be realesed BUT we can't just get them all at once! guys all those classic N64 games (except rare...maybe) will be realesed. Games such as SSB64,Mario tennis and others will be here in the future but damn we must wait and be patient. remember the n64 wasn't exactly successful and didn't have a huge libary of games (Nintendo practically realesed an n64 game once a month back then). Just be patient. There is lots of consoles on the VC now and nintendo cant focus on the one console. BTW...lol....OMFG ZELDA:MM ON VC!!!!! XD Sorry! XD

Yes! I can't wait for Majora's Mask! I never got those games on my 64 and I need this one. I already beat Ocarina on vc and I need the sequal! SSB vc would be awesome too
I wish people would stop with the complaining as well. However, N64 fans do seem to be getting the short end of the stick on the VC.
The N64 release schedule seems to be the worst. In 2008, only 5 N64 titles were released, out of 15 total to date. The last N64 release was in October of 2008 which is now approaching 7 months ago.
It's true that they're not going to "throw all the N64 games at us" because they are barely throwing ANY at all.
It doesn't really bother me one way or the other, and while your call for patience is admirable, you've got to admit that the rate of release for the N64 in particular is terrible.

I agree with ReZon. I'm not for complaining that we aren't getting a lot at the same time, but really, ONE would be nice.
in a different context, we haven't seen a single N64 release this calendar year, while missing perfect opportunities such as the 10 year anniversary of the original Smash Bros. We're also nearing the 300th VC title, and we're unsure of what we're getting. This is compounded with only getting one VC game per week total, which is quite sad, as well as not knowing what we're getting until basically the night before, while Japan, for example, usually knows everything they get at the beginning of the month.
I wouldn't say that some people are whining excessively, which some people, here and elsewhere, think, but I'd say that they are getting more frustrated than others.

Stop complaining? I don't see why. The last N64 game N.A. got was last fall. That was, what, half a year ago? The N64 happens to be my favorite VC system and it's not cool that Nintendo likes to spread titles thinner than rain in some rain-absent desert (best simile ever!) We're waiting on SSB and LOZ:MM, the two big N64 titles and guess what? Those are big titles that many people have (myself included regarding SSB.) So we'll be back to square one waiting another 6 months to a year for a N64 VC title.

Are you kidding? People should be complaining about this MORE, but not to each other, to Nintendo. There are 387 N64 games in existence. I know not all regions have all 387 but still. And North America has only 15 of those on the VC right now. 15 games in over 29 months since the Wii was released. 15 / 387 = 3.9%. Not exactly throwing games at us.
Very good point, Edwin. I know a lot of those games are licensed via movies or sports, but is it really ~96% of EVERY TITLE released? I don't think so. I think Nintendo should be ashamed that they have less than 10% of the library by now. Hell, that modest benchmark is 3 times more games than we have received as of now.

There are so many good games they could release for the 64. I don't feel like waiting 5 years only to get like 20 games. Nintendo needs to start picking up the pace. Money wise they could make a killing!

If SSB64 or Zelda MM WILL EVER FREAKING COME WHO KNOWS WHEN Nintendo stops making us in USA wait SO LONG for them... & just because freaking Japan got (SSB64 on Jan 20th & Zelda MM on April 7th) & Europe got (Zelda MM on April 3rd); because they have to act like we dont't get all the GOOD games FIRST & they have to give other regions them FIRST!!

Oh, & just off the record; Nintendo does needs to STEP IT UP with the VC!! They TOTALLY BLEW IT not releasing SSB64 on its 10 year anniversary this last Monday!! I don't even needs to say how RIDICULOUS Nintendo RUINED the PERFECT chance for some major MONEY & VC Downloading from LONG TIME HARDCORE FAN!!

I'm not mad when weeks go by without them. But I'm wondering WHY theres a lack. WHY are we only getting First Party Games? WHY are there no REAL third party games?
I like to think its because of the lack of Controller Pak support. I feel Nintendo doesn't want to let anyone else on board with the fear that they'll prepare a game for VC without a way to save it. Or the amazing possibility that all third parties everywhere aren't ready to focus on their N64 library yet.
I really hope we find an answer to this question this year. Konami, Hudson, Nintendo, whoever we need to talk to get to the bottom of this!

You mean when third party companies will get a hold of some game liscences; like Konami for example with the TMNT games?! One can only hope!
I too am concerned about the lack of N64 games on the VC. Quite frankly N64 games are not that hard to emulate. Project 64 emulates most games without any problems. I feel Nintendo can do the same as well and give us more releases.
