Since the Wii VC is dead I think it would be appropriate if it was brought back to life by Castlevania: Dracula X. Now there is a game I don't know if I will ever own the orginal of. B-)

I have ridiculous upside

Glitches and poorly excecuted levels. Kind of a half-@$$ed game if you ask me.

R.I.P. Wii VC. I will always love you. ;__;

You're such a poetic cry-baby ;)

But now you can do the same with the 3DS :D

@ JayArr
You make it sound like somebody ran over your dog.
Do you need some spiritual counseling?

Anyway I just wanted that Translated Monster world IV Sega promised us a few months ago. After that there's really nothing else I'm dying for on VC.
Well maybe Demon's crest and Castlevania Bloodlines but that's it. I wish we good get some kinda info on what's up with the Wii's VC lack of updates lately.
If it's gotten this bad I don't expect much hope for Wii U's VC service.

If it was going to be revived by anything, it would be Castlevania Bloodlines over Dracula X.

Apparently the Wii VC is still alive in Japan, so the question is what the deal is with NA and PAL regions.

I'm about tempted to E-mail them and ask what the hells going on?
They'd probably give me some canned response. something along the lines of there being many different factors that keep games from releasing. It's pretty clear that Japan is first priority.
America and Europe can just go suck an Egg aparently. :(

I'm itching for a Japanese Wii. They have 627 total games compared to NA's 392 (377 and 358 in Europe and Australia respectively) and still getting more.

as much as i think it's great to have a 3DS virtual console, it will probably have just ports of games from handheld consoles such as the gameboy, gamegear and perhaps neo geo pocket.

the wii's virtual console spanned titles from the sega megadrive/genesis, master system, turbografx, N.E.S, super nintendo. which when you take into consideration how many games have been made/released is bigger than the handheld titles, i presume.

it is sad to see the VC being neglected in the west; if i was president of nintendo, i'd release 3 VC games each for the wii, 3DS each week, instead of just 2, 3 every 2 months. of course, it means having to get round the legal issues and persuading companies to port their games over to the V.C. but at least that is worth a shot than just leaving it to die.

At this rate what hope do we have for Wii U's VC if there even is one?
They might tease us with a few Gamecube games early on and leave it to die also after about 3 years.
