After playing Sega & All Stars Racing: Transformed, I became curious of Ristar. I just downloaded it on my Wii and have played it for the past two hours straight. I'm really surprised this game never got any sequels. It really is fantastic, not perfect, but definitely fantastic. Just thought I'd share.

Some of my favorite games:
Ghost Trick, StarFox 64, WarioLand: Shake It, Kid Icarus, The Legendary Starfy, Endless Ocean: Blue World, Zelda: Minish Cap, Pokemon Snap, Diamond Trust of London, Gyromite, Katamari Damacy, EarthBound, Mario Kart 7, and Sonic Generations(PS3).

Ristar made a cameo in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing but was requested by many to be playable in Transformed. Unfortunately, Sumo only made him the flagman at the finish line.

I tried it on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for my PS3 and just could not get into it even though I wanted to.

Ristar is such a fun platformer, imo, and one of the best that came out during Sega's 16-bit years!

Ristar has a lot of creativity, a lot of charm, excellent music and great characters. I love that game, i downloaded it years ago and it is a must-have.

Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

Man, I love Ristar.
I still remember the awesome boss music it had.

I hate that third lava planet the most and that robot mole, he sucks.

Oh, I didn't know Ristar was on the PS3 Gensis bundle, it's nice that Ristar got a part in it, I hope that it helped give him some of the great love he deserves.

With the love meter on the rise in here for Ristar I may just have to give it another chance.

I've always wanted a sequel for it. But yeah, it is a fantastic game.

The first time I played this I was only able to get to the boss on the music world. (Btw, the background music for the music world is awesome!) My second time playing, I made it to the snowball fight in the ice world and failed miserably. Surprisingly, I have a Wii U and am finding myself being drawn back to this game more than I am to it.

Sega should make a sequel. It's the perfect time to do it.

Seriously, if you have not played this game do yourself a favor and download it immediately.
