Mario Kart 64 for sure. The game just oozes creativity and imagination, plus the difficulty is perfect. F-Zero is a little more punishing and frustrating. Although I did love F-Zero as a kid.

Is the original Smash Bros. worth it if I own Melee and Brawl? Never played the original, but I kinda want to own the entire series.

Currently Playing:

PS3: inFAMOUS 2, LBP 2. Rachet & Clank: All 4 One, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3

iOS: Sonic CD, Infinity Blade, Arkham City Lockdown, Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger

Does anyone think he might enjoy StarFox 64 more than MK 64? Any other suggestions would be helpful as well. I believe he enjoys racing and fighting games the most. I'm torn between MK 64, F-Zero X and either LoZ: OoT or LoZ: MM. Anyone have a definite answer, remember he's 10 yrs. old.

I would download it again @Link245. My son enjoys it more than anything I've downloaded from the WiiShop service so far. And it will only cost you $10 more to complete your collection, why not download it? Plus it's more simple than it's successors, which makes it more accessible. This one is definitely suited for casual and hardcore gamers alike. (<:

Yeah, but I think the real fun in Smash Bros. games comes from multiplayer and I experienced that not many people want to play the original if you have Melee and Brawl around... and once you find enough people to get the most out of the game you still need 4 Wiimotes with 4 Classic Controllers and/or 4 Gamecube Controllers.

I had 500 pts. left over after I purchased a new map pack for BCF and so I spent it on Kid Icarus. I've never actually experienced Kid Icarus before, but I've heard good things about the core gameplay. Was this an intelligent decision, why or why not?

What does it matter you spent the points already its not like if we all said it was a bad purchase you can get your points back.

I enjoyed Kid Icarus. Concluded a map for some of the harder labyrinth stages though. Beaten it twice to get to the best ending. (After you beat the game you start over with all your stats and items).
Starting a fresh new game is difficult as you don't have the better arrows, shield and stuff, but it gets easier once you level up your energy bar and bought some of the useful items/skills.
To level up you have to collect enough hearts (kill enemies) in a stage. If you hit a certain score you get another energy container at the end of the stage.
My advice: Don't rush through the stages. Kill all the easy respawning enemies to collect enough hearts for the level-up bonus.

And has your opinion changed since I purchased it @Tasuki? I'm just trying to evaluate my purchase. I'm really not familar with every NES title, so any comparisons would be helpful.

@WiiAboutU: Actually I never played it . I remember my friend having it back in grade school and watching him play it but never really played it or if I did I dont remember it.

I wasnt doggin your purchase it just seemed odd that you asked if you made a good purchase after you made it thats all. In truth as long as you enjoy it than yes it was a good purchase.

So far I'm enjoying it @SKTTR. I really didn't expect to see such precise and responsive control present in an NES title. (<:

Which of these games is the best?

Super turrican
Super return of the jedi
Cybernator

SKTTR

Out of these three Super Turrican is my fav.
I found RotJ too hard and Cybernator too slow.

Ok, thanks SKTTR! That was my first choice too when looking at reviews and videos.

Can anyone recommend which of these titles I should purchase first: Megaman X, Super Metroid or Super Castlevania?

So I heard uncharted waters for the SNES is a great sandbox rpg/exploration game is there anything particularly special about the game such as game mechanics or story?

Also is Indiana Jones for the SNES worth 800 points?

No problem I'm only there 2 to three days a week and as for your earlier question I would definitely recommend Super Castlevania IV it has the best gameplay of any Castlevania game released |D

Is Dig Dug worth the import price tag attached to it? I know Kirby's Adventure has a ton of content for an NES title, but do the other VC entries contain as much production value?
