I somehow managed to beat Super Ghouls N Ghosts the 2nd time through to get the real ending. I spent three nights just trying to beat the second to last boss with the bracelet, and then the final boss I managed to beat in about 20 minutes. Definately one of the hardest games I've ever beaten.

congrats on that, im at the same spot as you were in the game...but i cant beat the game with the bracelet still, ive never had this much trouble with a game

Yeah it's brutal. It's still ridiculously hard, but if you can get to those bosses with the gold armor it makes it a little easier, since it gives the bracelet a little extra range.

i can get there with the gold armor, to me the game itself isnt hard...its the last part i have problems with, i can plow through the whole game twice, but cant beat the last bosses.

Silly question(or maybe not), but have you completed Mega Man 1-6, Ninja Gaiden I-III and Castlevania I-III all on the phantabulous Nintendo Entertainment system? I can almost say i have, once i get around to playing MM6....Which I'll be getting in a couple weeks and a few other retro goodies from my bogus & beloved home world Video Land. B-) I've been holding off on the retro buys for a couple of months i think which is a shell shock to the Wavemyster's 7-11 slurpilicious system. The last Nes game i picked up was Metroid(Still haven't played it yet) along with a few other retro buys since i never make just one purchase at a time. I like to mix things up a bit by including retro toys and other merchandisie which makes the entire purchase more fun and memorable.

Time to get radical retro once again and ignore all of this silly modern gaming poop, or at least keep the balance intact between the two. :p

@Waveboy
i havent beat all of the mega man, castlevania or ninja gaiden games as of yet. as far as ninja gaiden, ill beat that series on the snes cart. i cant remember exactly how many mega man games ive beat, but im going to start over from 1-10, including mm 7 and mm 8. no excuses, however battle kid took an enormous amount of time to beat so now im catching up again. i know holy diver is even harder than any old castlevania game, in fact it was made before castlevania...why do i keep torturing myself!

Double Dragon 2, but I can always go back and replay that one, with a friend or on my own. The others are Super Metroid and A Link to the Past.

Cannibalism...(But it's LOVE BABY!) Hear the demo at www.myspace.com/staleevolution Don't bother if you can't stomach a little salt with your rock and roll though!

The text was fine. But the lack of at least a piece of still art was kind of disappointing, considering how much trial and error I went through to reach the end.

If you want to see a really bad ending, check out Donkey Kong Land for Game Boy.

After what I think might have been a year, I finally beat Mega Man 2. I just ripped through the Wily Castle in what was mostly my first try on the stages.

On Wii VC, I recently beat U-Four-ia, Link to the Past, and Super Mario RPG. U-Four-ia was a fantastic game. LttP was ok, definitely not my favorite Zelda though. And Super Mario RPG was pretty boring in my opinion.

As for 3DS VC, the only game I recently beat on there was Super Mario Land. Great game, way too short though.

It's a good thing I have some shoe stickers

@Ogo79
What did you think of the final battle against good ol Drac?
I thought it was easily one of the best end finale boss battles in the entire Belmont & BattyTastic franchise. 3 Forms this time around just like in III: Dracula's Curse. B-) The game could of been a bit longer, but that makes it even more appealing to just pick up and play and blaze through it all over again. Once you finish it you can select the 'classic' style jump instead of the default control your jump in mid air. Choosing to go Retro will definitly ramp the challenge up considerably. If Alf can beat it, Ogo can beat it. Sup! :p
