Anyone getting this? I've been waiting many years to play this.

Just a little longer until it comes out in Europe...

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

How many fighting games ARE on NG? It's like spam not knowing which ones are good or which ones are SF ripoffs. Is this good?

Its the second best Fatal Fury game, the best being Mark of the Wolves.

Agreed 100%. I've been waiting forever for it. Once it comes out in the US, I'll definitely be getting it Once I get my Wii online again I'll definitely be getting it, along with World Heroes Perfect.

Do you recommend me this game or maybe i need to wait to Real Bout 2? Which differences are in both games? (besides the new characters in RB2)

I went ahead and bought RBFF Special. Not sure when RB 2 will come out, but I am happy with my choice. :-)

From the Main page:

Why is better than the sequel? If both are very similar i want the best version instead buy both

They're very similar. Two new characters in 2, but IMO, Special looks better, the characters I used had better moves, and it was way easier to get off those moves. I did like the new characters in 2, though, and the game as a whole had a more tolerable style whereas Special was trying so hard to be cool it hurt. Ideally it would be best to get both, but if I had to choose one, I'd go with Special.

The way the Virtual Console is usually laid out, you buy "lesser" games while waiting for superior sequels to be released.

Its why SFII World Warriors was released a long time before Super Street Fighter II. Some people can wait, some people can not.

But Neo Geo games are a little weird in this months. They skip a "lesser" version to bring a more actual version. This time they skipped RB Fatal Fury and they bring the Special edition. So the same with World Heroes, they skipped 2 and 2 Jet to bring us Perfect. And they skipped KOF 96 too but it is now disponible.

Anyone else notice the milky white blood? Is there a way to change it? I have many other neo geo vc games and they all have red blood.

I don't think so. They're just using the US regional settings. I think before they would alter the games to include red blood (or maybe this was the only one they ever altered back in the day? I doubt that, but I don't know for sure). Unless there's a way to change your regional settings in the options menu, I think you may be stuck with it.

This one is better than RB2. The graphics, the music, the backgrounds, and game engine. MOTW have graphic quality compared to SFIII and a deep engine (one of the best of SNK) but the cast is not your classic FF (except for Terry) so the last classic & good FF game is this one.
