I prefer to have a physical copy of the games for Nintendo systems, but VC is useful also for people like me since it reminds me about games I havent played for a while and its a showcase for games I didnt know about. And for other systems I tried to download only the most representative of each console (that wasnt released on a Nintendo system previously), here:

VCA: Son Son, C64: Pitstop II, NG: Ninja Commando, SG: Bonanza Bros. SMS: Alex Kidd in MW, TG16: Blazing Lazers

I am also considering one import game per console, but I will wait for release of Devils World and SNES Picross in America

I've been wrong before, but I don't think we are ever gonna get Devils World or Super Mario Picross in America. Europe has had SMP since 2007, so the chances of it coming here don't look too good. It's a shame too, as I really want to play it.

Also, did I misunderstand your post, or are you saying you are only allowing yourself one VC game from each non-Nintendo system? If that's what you are saying, then you are missing out on a lot of great games for those systems. And you could have picked something much better than Bonanza Bros to represent the Genesis

@brooks83: Yes, I know its not likely to get those games on the american VC, but its not impossible, one can dream.

I know I can miss good 3rd party games, but most of them are on compilations for Nintendo systems, and my wallet and my OCD made me think it would be more fair to restrict to one game per console, also the wii memory (before SD) didnt help
I knew some of you were going to say that about Bonanza Bros. but I wanted this since it was dropped off the NTSC Sonic Gems Collection, and their appearance on S&S All stars racing also teased me to download this, but I am open to suggestions, Which never before released (on Nintendo systems game series would you chose to represent Genesis/MD?

We've had our Wii for a few yrs now and I just recently purchased my 1st vc title. I went with Street Fighter 2 CE for the TG16. I've always been fascinated with the tg16 ever since I was in elementary school. One of my buds back in the day received the system for Christmas back in 1990. It was his 1st game system and I honestly felt sorry for the dude initially as everyone else in our neighborhood were still enjoying our nes's (with the exception of my neighbor that had a sega master system and eventually got a sega genesis when Sonic1 was packed in). Anyways, I was defintely impressed with the TG. It was completely superior to my nes in the graphics department and was far more sophisticated with it's exterior styling as well. I was wanting one for my bday the following year in the summer of 1991. Ultimately, I ended up with an snes for Christmas in 1991 but the tg16 has always held a special place in my heart! Street fighter ce has been a pleasant surprise thus far... I used to play the heck outta the snes sf's and I must say that the tg16 version compares well.

I'll prolly go with Bloody Wolf for my next title as I used to be completely mesmerized with that game as a youth.

Also considering Bomberman '93 or '94 since I used to enjoy the original bomberman on the nes. Which one is better? I see that '94 is a Japanese import just like sf2ce but obviously, reading text is not important in a street fighter game but how about for bomberman? I don't remember much reading back in the nes version...
