what's the most advanced version (for lack of a better term) of paperboy? was there a N64 version? i didn't have SNES but i want to say there was a paperboy version for that system.

I only remember the NES version. I just read the wiki though and I never heard of the other ones but now I want to play them all. And yes there is a port for just about every system that was out the most advanced they got was Paperboy64 it looks like.

thx for the info. i didn't think to even look it up on wiki. i hope they don't mook us and release the crummier versions first and string us along, releasing the best version last, like they did with space harrier.

Since Midway just sold to Warner Interactive and I don't think the ink is dry yet it will probably be awhile before their intentions re: classic IP are made clear. I fully intend to resume spamming them once the dust has settled!
I will say that if your Wii will play North American Gamecube games you can get Midway Arcade Treasures Volume 1 which I'm pretty sure has Paperboy and a ton of classic Miday and Williams and other Atari Games as well. To better your pleasure get a Classic Linker and use your Classic Controller instead of a Gamecube one for the dual-stick games like Robotron.
