Cashman3000

I had an Apple IIe growing up. Would love to see some of those games again. Like, King's Quest, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Winter Games, or Bruce Lee. But I guess some of those could possibly be released as C64 games.

I'd like to see the 3DO... but only because I'd like to download Star Control II to my Wii.

I'm hoping right now that they release the DSi VC in the West. I'm starting to want to play my old Game Boy (Color/Advance) favourites...and I mean REALLY wanting to, not just a mess around for a few minutes til I get bored! As for the Wii VC, definitely Sega CD, since I can pick up Sonic CD and Knuckles' Chaotix (the latter of which I've never played). Oh, and the only games outside the boundaries of Nintendo that I play are Sonic games (and nothing else), but since Sonic has somehow become a 2.5-party Nintendo franchise (see: Mario & Sonic series, SSB Brawl, Sonic Rush series, Sonic and the History Lesson (Secret Rings and Black Knight) series), then technically I'm still a NintendoPurist _

I totally second Cashman3000, I need me some King's Quest. In addition, I used to play this old game in 5th grade on the one computer we had; It was called Adventure. Anyone know the game I'm talking about?

tbh, as nice as saturn/DC would be, disc-based systems tend not to work...pretty surprised CD versions of Turbo games have come out. CD isos tend to be several-hundred megs minimum, and while saturn could technically be doable for certain games (I know a lot used CD audio, so with compression of the audio, maybe the size could work), the majority would just be too big for Wii's size limitations...and emulating Dreamcast directly would be waaay too system-resource-intense for the Wii...even ports of dreamcast games can get the occaisional bout of slowdown, and the programming of those games are optimized (or half-assedly optimized...looking at you Ultimate Shooting Collection) for the Wii's hardware.

Realistically, aside from WiiMame (thank god!!) I don't know what else we can expect...maybe more obscure old stuff like ColecoVision or something? Virtual-Boy maybe!?

How about Phillips CD-i?

bursts out laughing

But seriously, since it was a product of a failed partnership between Nintendo and Phillips, and it had those supposedly terrible Zelda games that I still want to try out, I'd like to see it on there.

Using Turbograffix as a template, it doesn't seem like SEGA CD and 32-X would need their own system listings as such. They could just be included with the main system like the TG-CD is. I would like to see their games added, anyway.

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

SEGA Mega CD and Commodore Amiga please.

AMIGA 500. That´s all. These days it´s pretty hard to find working discs for A500, so a new (legal) way to play it is needed...

Dreamcast would be awesome, but it takes to much space.
Atari 2600 is a real possibility and an alternative for C64.

Sony ps3 and psp have downloadable Playsation games so thats NEVER going to happen

Well, that's funny. I thought I said in the exact same post that the chances of it happening are near impossible (or something to that extent). Meh - maybe I can't read what I myself type up in the first place. My bad.

Amiga and Saturn are givens (and I would think possible). I would also love to see GBA games on the big screen again now that I don't have my Gamecube hooked up. Atari ST and Jaguar would be good too. And as a wild card entry I'd like to see old DOS and early Windoze games on the VC. Blood, Duke Nukem with 'mouse control', Rise of the Triads, Wing Commander, Descent, Star Craft, Syndicate blah, blah, blah.

Give me Sega 32X!

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

I don't think you could go wrong with either the Sega 32X or the Dreamcast. Wasn't there an Atari Lynx at one time as well? Not sure if they had any good games or not, but still variety IS the spice of life.

About the Atari. I'm torn if I would actually get any games if they offered them. I own an Atari 7800 and do hook it up once in a blue moon. Games that would be nice are Joust, Miss Pac Man, Missile Defense, Dig Dug, and Galaga. I'm sure there's some others, but if they didn't make them for around 200-300 points, I really don't see many people downloading them.
