Hello there. We have our Coming Soon List for Virtual Console game on Nintendo Life, which of course is accurate informations. However, Wikipedia decided to make there own inaccurate list. I won't just show one game, I'll show it all and explain why for once, Wikipedia is indeed wrong:
1. SimEarth (TurboGrafx-CD)
2. Emeralida (Virtual Console Arcade)
3. Final Fanasty (Nintendo Entertainment System)
4. Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)
5. The Return of Ishtar (Virtual Console Arcade)
6.Shanghi II: Dragon's Eye (Sega Genesis/Megadrive)
7. Shinobi (Sega Master System)
8. Solvalou (Virtual Console Arcade)
9. Sonic & Knuckles (Sega Genesis/Megadrive)
10.World Heroes 2 (Neo Geo)
11. Space Harrier (Virtual Console Arcade)
12. Duck Hunt (Nintendo Entertainment System)
13.Earthworm Jim 2 (Sega Genesis/Megadrive)
14. Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64)
15. Pengo (Sega Genesis/Megadrive)

21. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)
22. Wild Gunman (Nintendo Entertainment System)
23. Zombies Ate My Neighbors (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)
See the ones in bold? Those game are indeed coming to the North American Virtual Console. But look at the one that are not bold. Those games have no proofs of us seeing it on the Virtual Console whatsoever. First off, this list is on Nintendo Life is over twice as big as Wikipedia list. Next, what the heck is Emeralida? Sources are not good, they are only rumors. Also notice that there are license games on the Wikipedia list. Those games are questionble at best, unlikely at worst. They also failed to mention most of the games on Nintendo Life Coming Soon List, which actually has good source, such as Earthbound, Super Pitfall, Phanasty Star, Super Mario Picross, and ESWAT: City Under Siege.
This list is so inaccurate, you should never trust Wikipedia's Virtual Console "Coming Soon" list for anything. In fact, if none of the mentioned game on the Virtual Console gets released on June 1st, 2009, I'm taking down the list and put it with our list, which is 100% accurate. Whoever is reponsible for this fake list needs to be banned from Wikipedia.
