Oh No! No VC game(s)! What do we do? What do we do? Oh, let's complain... Seriously people. Great idea. Complaining gets you so very far in the long run! [Sarcasm is fun]

"We appreciate your comments concerning the recent number of Virtual Console games that have been released. Please keep in mind that there are various factors involved with releasing older game titles on the Wii’s Virtual Console. We average about 10 new Virtual Console titles per month, which means that some months will see more than 10 new releases and others less than 10 new releases. I will, however, be sure to share your feedback regarding this issue to the appropriate personnel for further review. "

WHAT?!? That e-mail's over a year out of date! We NEVER get 10 games in a month anymore! You need to reply and point that out. Maybe suggest we go back to the release schedule outlined there?
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
I think this is a smart move by Nintendo. It allows them to take their time with the releases. By doing so, they can release higher quality games every other week instead of crappy games weekly.
I agree: that email is way out of date. We've been averaging about five VC games a month for the past year. Of course, many websites have their little things that never get updated.

Yeah, it sucks we didn't get a VC game today but I don't think it's nearly as big of a deal as some people seem to think. If we didn't get two VC games last week, yeah, I'd be right there with you guys but I think Nintendo just wanted to keep the one game per week average going and that's all there is to it. It's MORE unfair to me that Nintendo seems to want to keep first party titles from North Americans as long as they possibly can. I don't see the logic in it and I think we'll have to endure a couple more weeks before we see Smash Bros., or maybe they'll be nice and soften the blow of todays update by giving it to us next week... I doubt that, though.
Thing is, is the VC is a finite pool of resources. There's only so many good games out there that they can port over.
Let's face it, rubbish games got released in the Good Old Days too, for every Super Mario or Sonic, there was four or five Clu Clu Lands or Altered Beasts.

Yes, Nintendo has, as of this year, been holding on to first party titles to release at the "right time". Look at what they did with Majora's Mask, for example. Now Smash Bros is being held back for whatever reason and I can guarantee they'll do the same thing with Super Mario Kart and any other highly requested first party titles there after. I'm not saying that they won't ever release those games but just that they seem to think that first the planets have to align in a certain way before they decide to do so in North America. It's BS man.

Why have you decided not to release any Virtual Console games today? Some people actally buy VC games rather then WiiWare games sometimes. I want to see more VC support, and I do not want to see this horrible VC support soon. Please, do not give me the usual email that we get 10 games per month. We now get 5 or 6 games per month. But, it appears you plan to completely pull the plug on the VC service. If you do that, I will be very angry. Also, please release Super Smash Bros. soon in America! We Americans are getting tired of playing catch-up to Europe.

Oh, you agree with us having only one to two Virtual Console games every two weeks and end up like our fellow Europeans last year? Absolutely not! Even if they did do the same thing with Europeans, it will probably be much worse then what they had to deal with. It'll probably be 1/2 games a week (Which is one game every two weeks.), mostly ****** games. And this is coming from an Wii defender.
@Amorous Badger: That's what I've been saying for quite awhile now. Nintendo depleted the easy major releases very quickly. It got increasingly hard afterward. That's why they re-released the C64, as an excuse to release something different. @Rapadash: Yeah, it does seem that way. Super Smash Bros., Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Kart, and StarFox should've been released ages ago. That and the Mario Party series. There's nothing holding them back, save for perhaps the complexity of the games. SMK, however, has absolutely nothing legitimate to account for its painful delay. N64 games take quite awhile nowadays, as it seems they always have. Plus, it'll probably take quite awhile to get the Super FX games running. However, considering that they already have about twenty N64 games now, the Super FX should be cake.

I remember an old VC-R member emailing Nintendo during the disappointing summer last year, and got the same reply lol.
I guess I'll live without VC games for a month. It depends on how many WW games we're gonna get. We'll just see in later weeks if this becomes a trend. If it does, I guess it means I'm gonna have to whip out the ROMs...
But really guys, there's no sense bitching about it.
