Actually I was referring to the US numbering, so it'd be VI. It's always possible they'll bring it over.
I wish they'd bring over V - I played a fan translation of it and it rocked hard.

I made Kid Tripp! PocketGamer gave it a 9 out of 10! You should totally buy it now!

i'm waiting only one game: Mario Party loll xD
Oh, and Donkey kong 64.... and Maybe Mario Paint...

I think I played the GBA version of V. If that was the one where somewhat early in there are these haunted ships and a haunted train, it was awesome. As with all Final Fantasy games, I never finished it though,so I'd definitely nab it on VC if Square put it out there.
Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Meh, i can wait for more VC games.
OVERTURN ON MONDAY w00t!!!
145. Posted: Sun 2nd Aug 2009 18:11 BST
Anyone else wishing they don't release a VC game next week either just to see all the tears?
We've gone far enough with the lack of an Virtual Console release, don't give them ideas!

@touffeboy: I'll be rejoicing with you once we get Mario Party. Even if it was just the first one, I'd be really happy. That would mean that #2 and #3 -- both of which I consider to be must-buys -- aren't far behind!
Let's hope it's #350, hm? Or #400 if SMK comes first.

You do realize there are 52 weeks in a year? If we get one game a week if any, it will be almost an entire year waiting for one or two Virtual Console games.

That's okay. I've been patient on a lot of VC games I've been waiting for. It won't kill me. Too bad that's not the case for others.
Anyway, given that support for the VC is waning (as in, not having as many releases as there used to be) I think it would be safe to assume that Nintendo could very well focus on the more requested titles and focus more on quality releases. It's a bit of a stretch but we'll see what happens this Monday....

Maybe not. That Overturn thing is coming to WiiWare. It's another big release like FFCC and Monkey Island.
I could wait for VC too, I have 24 of my favorite games on there already.

Great. I bet NOA wants to push the Virtual Console out of the way for an hotly anticapated WiiWare title. Now that sucks.
Wait! I have an solution!
Just have two WiiWare games so we can have one Virtual Console game! It makes sense!
151. Posted: Mon 3rd Aug 2009 05:32 BST
No. That's not the solution. The solution would be to have 3 WiiWare games and one/two VC games. Nothing should have to be sacrificed.

I told you guys that the VC sales were going down, just like Corbie said! All Nintendo cares about is the money when it comes to VC! It is just going to upset a lot of gamers who love the VC service. Soon, the Hombrew Channel will be on my Wii, and then I do not have to worry about the VC anymore.
Don't do it. Resist the temptation.
153. Posted: Mon 3rd Aug 2009 14:39 BST
Nintendo only caring about money is not exactly true - Super Smash Bros not yet on the American Virtual Console is proof of that.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

FFV had the haunted ships (where you find the pirate chick who joins you IIRC), but FFVI had the ghost train.

Ohhh right, they did release FFV on the GBA. I need to get that some time.
156. Posted: Mon 3rd Aug 2009 15:49 BST
Ehh, all Final Fantasies are the same.
157. Posted: Mon 3rd Aug 2009 16:12 BST
We have tons of proof that Nintendo cares about it's fans, but that is not one of the proofs. Oh well, might as well not complain.

@Adam: I don't agree. I tried FF4, and was horribly unimpressed. Boring battles, starting out invincible, tedious exploration, etc. FF6 is way better and a much tighter experience.
159. Posted: Mon 3rd Aug 2009 19:29 BST
@Adam: I'm pretty sure the Ghost Train was FFVI. Maybe V had one as well, but I KNOW VI did.Where did you hear that VI won't be coming to our VC ever? All I heard was that it wasn't coming THIS YEAR, since FFI and FFIV were confirmed for THIS YEAR (which means Nintendo needs to get its collective butt in gear before it makes a liar out of Squenix)! VI could be coming in 2010 for all we know.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

The DS remake of FFIV is much better than the SNES and GBA versions.
