I thought Ubisoft had the license to the TMNT games now? They could talk to Nickelodeon about renewing the game license.
And if it's due to licensing issues, then how does Konami still have the rights to the Simpsons Arcade game?
Because the rights to Simpsons are still owned by the same company that has had them from the beginning. The creator of TMNT however, Peter Laird sold all the rights to Nickelodeon and closed down Mirage studios. Ubi Soft and Konami had deals with Mirage Studios which are null and void now due to Nick having the rights. I am sure that Konami could bring the games back but they would have to work out a new deal with Nick and it just could be too expensive.
Also both TMNT the Arcade game and TMNT Turtles in Time Reshelled are both gone from XBLA now as well
Are you sure they've gone from Xbox Live? I've just had a look and they're still there - and I've never bought them before. Turtles arcade is 400 points so I think I'll get it before it disappears.
pog.com is a site thats really big with my son and his grade school friends. A lot of it is bad fan made games, (some of it good) but theres also some console games there also like the SNES version of TMNT: Turtles in Time and some others.

Hmm might be a regional thing. I know in NA the turtle games are gone from the XBLA. I am not sure about Europe though since I dont live there.

They're definitely still on there over here. I've just bought the original arcade game incase it disappears any time soon - I think I'll pass on Turtles in Time, though. I have a question, however - now that I've bought it is it mine for good? I've not actually downloaded it yet as I've signed into my account from someone else's XBox as mine isn't with me right now. If they take it off, I'll still be able to download it given the fact I've purchased it?
@Madgear: I believe that once you purchase it you can download it again its just that once a game has been removed from XBLA new purchases cant be made. However I am not 100% sure on that so you might want to google the answer to that or maybe call Microsoft.
And yes it looks like that it was only pulled from US XBLA as stated in the article below
Thanks for the info. Yeah it's definitely not worth the risk as it probably will disappear from our online store soon so I bought it. Can't find the answer to the question on Google but I'll just trust I can download it at a later date - if not I'll just kick up a fuss to Microsoft.
Since these games are very popular I think Konami will try to bring them back by working out the liscening issues.
If Konami really believed this wouldn't we have seen the most requested Turtle NES game , TMNT II: The Arcade Game on the Wii VC?
They would not bother since Pizza Hut is involved with that game. And as we all know Pizza Hut is against digital distribution of games
sorry im a bit off topic but pizza hut pizza isnt that great anyways. ill stick with dominos or papa johns

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
