So Ninja Gaiden has just been released on the 3ds eshop... I've been enticed and enamoured by the videos for weeks but am baulking at the £4.49 price tag. Should I or shouldn't I?

Definitely worth it, a great game!

II: Sword of Chaos is an awesome sequal, but the original gaiden is easily the most memorable. The soundtrack alone is Freakin' jaw dropping . Anyhoo! These games are already available on the Wii's VC....They have been for years and you get to play them as they were intended on the big screen. Plus the wii remote on it's side 'NES style' feels far more retro and comfortable in comparison to the tiny 4 face buttons and lower placed d-pad on the 3DS. But some people love their portable gaming i guess. There's no way in hell i'd pay for these games again just to have them 'on the go'

@chewytapeworm: I see you are talking about the 3DS eShop... The 3DS has its own 3DS Virtual Console section, you might get some better response there.

I made a thread a month ago. But I'm VERY VERY angry that it didn't come out today even though it was promised for the 8th and didn't come then either. Calling NOA didn't get me anything good either (They said it was announced at E3 2010 as a tentitive title, which is true, but when I kept telling them it was VIRTUAL CONSOLE they still ignored my question), and emailing TK got me NO RESPONSE. Grrr.... I got II and III on wii and REALLY want to complete the trillogy (I have $5 saved for either this game or sonic blast or labyrinth)

And to think that the Euros got it BEFORE US when it was originally meant to be AFTER US.

wait, what? Why not download the original on the Wii's VC to complete the trilogy?

I don't have the money (Saving for Wii U on sunday), and plus I have $5 on the 3DS eshop for it already.
