I have waited what seems a life time for the NES pro wrestling to come to the VC. What has happened? In my opinion it was one of the best sports/1st wave of NES games i fondly remember while so many other titles have been released. Any ideas as to why this game is stalled in release limbo?

It has licenses. They can not release games with licenses.

What is the license?
Is it because it was (supposedly) developed by Human Entertainment (who made the FirePro Wrestling series)? We've seen other games from them on VC.

I think it was just a victim of publishers losing interest in the Virtual Console. If they hadn't have lost interest, it may still have been released.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

We can only hope this game will be revived on the Wii U VC.
