The game is now back online on the US Wii shop. Just checked it a few minutes ago. Either Nintendo listened to our complaints, or it was a simple mess up.

First of all this is a bogus money grab by Capcom. As consumer we should be able to choose which version of Ghosts and Goblins we want wether its inferior or not.
I still notice the game is under my account, so I can download it again at anytime. If you want Ghouls and Ghosts for the Genesis I would download it soon before Capcom gets on their high horse and removes it.
Sorry Capcom, I apologize. Guess I should take back this little comment. You should however still pick up the Sega version of Ghouls and Ghosts because its a pretty awesome game.
so what's up with the refund talk, then? if it's back now, why did that dude say yesterday or whatev' that the game had been taken down and the OP would get a refund?

It's most likely was a duplication error. They may not have meant it to be removed. And when it was removed people probably wouldn't have been able to download it at that time. That was probably when the guy who asked about a refund called in. They probably only realized once the trouble tickets piled up. then they had to figure out how to put it back on there with out knocking the other one off.
