I can't wait for these!

I can't wait for an official Monster World IV. Finally, the whole Monster World series is available on the Virtual Console.
It can't be that long, they found the achievements recently.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

This month I'm broke (rise of energy costs, huge telephone bill, and stuff that's no business to anyone, yada, yada, etc.)I have waited for MWIV since I heard about it for the first time a few years ago! It's my most anticipated VC game, with Earthbound Zero being a close second (and a few other games that will never appear on a Nintendo console). However, I can't get it launch!! Time to sell my collection! Or rob a bank! Or just being angry about having spent a million bucks on other games I never really wanted, instead of saving up 9 bucks for this baby.

@SKTTRyou ever play "Earthbound Zero " on a repro cart? you can always get that, it took a while to beat but its great.

Wow! Two wii VC games in one week in America? Sega really wants to revive the Wii VC. I may try Monster world IV sometime.

Strider, SSFII online, Super Hang-on and now Monster Land and Monster World IV.
Sega does what Nintendon´t (support the VC)

A question. Monster Land isn´t already available in Genesis and Turbografx? What are the differences with this arcade version?

There are 3 version of the game. Arcade, Master System, and Turbografx. The Turbografx is Japan-only, and the Master System version has no continues. Basically, this is the best version of the game.

There was also a Famicom version called Saiyuuki World (yes, based on Journey to the West). Though that one was also released in Japan only (they only bothered to release the unrelated sequel in North America and call it Whomp 'Em).

Perfect! This Monster Land is the best version then.
Again: Sega does what Nintendon´t (see too how they put options to their game gear VC games while game boy VC games lack a lot of funcionality).

SEGA have been very good with virtual console support at the moment. it's a shame nintendo and other companies are so reluctant or won't put their old games on the V.C.

This version of Monster Land has unlimited continues? How does that work? Monster Land is the only Wonder Boy game I never completed (I have the VC/MS version). The last stage is so confusing and the time limit kills me almost every time. Once I reached the final boss, but I missed some essential weapons and equipment that made the boss easier. So he killed me. I was a ragequitter at that moment.
But I keep coming back to that game. The stage design is extremely good, with lots of secrets, and the music is so awesome, better than most Mega Drive games.
Still, I recommend Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, and Wonder Boy in Monster World before this game, though my opinion might change when I play the arcade version of Monster Land. Monster World IV has good chances to get on top of my list of fav Wonder Boy games as well.

Well, this is the arcade version, so I suppose you could just use more credits if you want to continue.
Either way, I can't wait to play it.

This is sooo awesome! I have the Master System version of Monster Land but get sooooo frustrated by the lack of continues, etc, so this will help, also I've heard that MW4 is awesome so I'm definately getting them.

This is great news both are great games and IV is really going to suprise new players. It plays alot differently and just feels better. Ill get the collection too, but Im not waiting for it. Might as well buy IV since ive got all the series on VC, and get the collection assuming it comes to the psn later on.
