As some of you may know I recently reported Nintendo to UK trading standards after months of emailing them about their persistant failure to fix this game, not to mention the extremely poor customer service of Codestorm UK who at first refused to even acknowledge the problem. The game has been on sale and in broken format for over a year which is, frankly, a disgrace.
Today I finally received this email:
Dear Betagam7
I apologise for emailing you directly, but we have today received confirmation that “Last Ninja 3” will be removed from the European Virtual Console service. Any consumers that have purchased this title will have the Nintendo Points value refunded to their account. Once again, thank you for providing information regarding this title.

No confirmation of whether we will ever see it again in a fixed format but what this just goes to show is that it IS possible to get Nintendo to do something if you complain hard enough
