I heard this game was hard, so I'm going to try to beat it and attempting it by myself. Been playing for a little bit and yes you can die real quick if you're not carefull enough. I also found out if you take too long to destroy the spawn point, I think, then a blue energy comes after you and can kill you.
Anyone beat this game yet, Fairly? Just curious.

This is the TG16 Gauntlet clone with up to 5 players, right? I can remember it was lots of fun in parties, but not so much single-player...

Yep. It's decent enough in single-player, but it's so heavily multiplayer-oriented it should really be played that way. I'd suggest getting one or more friends to play with you if you can (the more, the better). As for the game being hard - while it's not exactly easy, and you WILL die, it's not like it's abnormally challenging for it's generation. It's also as hard as it need to be - the game places high focus on players working together, and would lose a lot of purpose if the game was so easy you could just rambo along killing all you saw and don't paying any notice to the other players (the life system is built around this, too - players don't have individual lives, you get to share 5. In single player, that means you can die 5 times, in 5-player that means if you die once, you're done for, and in any other mode, it means that the number of remaining lives will decrease by one every time someone dies. In 4-player, for instance, this means the first one of you to die will respawn, and after that has happened, you're all on your last life. Failure to protect your friends will bite you in the ass later)Good game.

In a perfect world, it would be easy to find 4 gamers interested enough in playing DE with me!
I have only beaten the game as the Warrior, who of course, is an all-round strong character for a solo adventure.

Yea. I'm doing this as the warlock. His spells are decent.
