So hopefully they start updating games in the future to work online.
That would be nice, wouldn't it?
However, I think this is just Sega going the extra mile with their VC releases. Just like with Puyo Puyo (online), R-Type for Master System (FM music option), and supposedly Monster World IV when it comes out (completely translated!).
Maybe if we're lucky, Sega will go back and add online support for some of the existing games on VC. In any case, I hope this trend continues with future releases. If you share this hope, then vote with your dollars!
(P.S. Sega seems to be full of awesomeness all of a sudden. I never follow company blogs, but now I'm starting to visit the Sega blog quite frequently.)
