Topic: Is there a way to replace purchased 50 Hz VC titles (PAL) with 60 Hz NTSC versions?

I was just wondering if you could get the NTSC roms somehow.

Checked online and got the conclusion that the only way is if Nintendo uploaded the North American versions on their European file servers for the Wii Shop, so that people could re-download their games and finally enjoy the smoother gameplay. At first, I wasn't acknowledging the fact that some games have very poor PAL conversions and should've done some research before making those purchases. SNES games are okay though.

Had a lot of NTSC systems in the past, so the difference is noticeable for me. Still, I can't return my purchases and get my money back from Nintendo because of this.

I think the only option is to transfer all your Wii data to the Wii U and then get upgrades to the available games for 99 cents (NES games) or 1.49 € (SNES games) from the Wii U eShop.
I've read that when you do that you keep the Wii VC version on your Wii U (playable in Wii mode). Sadly i can't confirm that right now since i haven't done the system transfer yet.

@beataLiToaD I don't have a Wii U yet, but I might consider getting one in the future. I do not know if the Wii U versions are 60 Hertz. If not, then I would like to know if there are optimisations that increase the speed to match their NTSC counterparts.

I noticed that the color palette is not even the same as on the Japanese and North American versions of the NES games.

In Wii it runs at 50 htz but in Wii U they are fixed to 60htz.

Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

Not all of them are. Some are optimized 50 Hz versions which still makes them slightly inferior. And i've already stumbled upon some where i couldn't find any info on if they're 50Hz or 60Hz versions. As i said, i hope i find the time to post a list.
