Topic: I know people were saying stop complaining when a week doesn't get a release one wants but...

At this point I think people do have a right to. I mean we're falling further and further behind in first party big titles that Japan's getting (SMK, SSB, FFIV, Kirby Super Star, etc.) and to make things worse, NOA and NOE never announce the releases ahead of time and it really sucks to turn on the computer or the Wii and TV on Mondays in America just to see what games are coming out. The least they should do is give a release list of VC games for each month like they do in Japan.

I know you have the right to complain but it gets tiresome to hear the same complaints over and over again. I have nothing against anyone who dislikes the VC; it's just that there have been too many threads about the VC. I know some users don't like it but sitting here complaining about it won't accomplish anything. That's what I think at least.

You have the right to say whatever you want... but I have to wonder what's the point of repeating for the millionth time what people have been saying for a couple years now. It's a genuine curiosity, not making fun of anyone or saying there's anything wrong with complaining some more. I just wonder what you're getting out of it.

Come on, friends,

Ah. I've gotten over it. By the way, FFIV isn't a first party game.

It's okay to express yourself, as long as it doesn't end up in one big offense. Sure, we could use better VC games, but I don't complain. And if I do, I get over it quick.
So, relax, 'k?

@theblackdragon - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I don't know why, but that made me bloody laugh!

Complaining gets the frustration out, it's good for you. It's just that it makes you seem whiney and ungrateful, and no one else wants to listen to it. Plus, asside from getting out your frustration, it does nothing to solve the problem. The fact of the matter is that the games you want will come out in due time, you just have to be patient. Besides, if it's that important to you, there are other ways to play it than on the VC. And Japan will always be better off than we will, because Nintendo is in Japan. It's been that way since the very beginning. Complaining about it now is simply futile.

^For example, if you can't wait for certain SNES titles to come to VC anymore, then either get one SNES console or buy its games (from eBay if not elsewhere) if you have one. Complaining does nothing to help matters.

Just wait, jeez! What sort of person starts a thread questioning the continued absence of Super Mario Kart on the non Japanese Virtual Console service? A PERSON WHO IS YOU AND EVERYTHING!

The lack of SSB64 is simply ridiculous now.

I would be willing to bet that SSB64 will be our 325th game. So four more weeks. Nintendo saves the big games for milestone numbers, it seems like. Let's just hope it won't be 350...

It's called freedom of expression.Tiresome ? Sure to others, but don't go out unheard. If something makes you unhappy, let people know who gives a sh*t what people think.I don't and never will and that's what makes me different from the rest. I'm not afraid to let anyone know my beliefs and opinions, even if it makes me the underdog or ignored the most.We as gamers come in many different shapes and forms so of course people will be both unhappy and happy .duh.If you are really open minded you will respect each others opinion no matter how much you disagree.

You know what i think, Nintendo should open us north Americans to their culture. Some of us are interested in other cultures and are simply curious to learn what makes people who they are and why they enjoy what they enjoy.Leaving that out makes us close minded and ultimately never understand each other. How does video games tie in to this, well don't we all play video games as a form of enjoyment? Why should i not be able to enjoy what Japan or Europe has to offer too? What if finding interest in different cultures changes the way you think for the better.I could only see this bringing people together, instead of just targeting certain cultures, race and gender. Not releasing games in other countries because "we might not understand" to me seems to just be about money. We all deserve to be equal gamers and THAT is my opinion.

You'd probably need to ask NoA/NoE about why Super Mario Kart still isn't available in the VC; I suspect it would have something to do with keeping 3rd parties sweet by showcasing their VC/VCA efforts and not overshadowing them. NoA is the only one who can say why SB64 still isn't out in the Americas yet so ask them.

If you really want to know more about Japanese culture and to enjoy the games that never get localised then learn Japanese. If there's no perceived money in it, no one is going to expend the time/effort (which = money) to localise a game, full stop.

@TheBlackDragon LOL. Can you please use your super mod powers and post that picture in every thread about VC games that aren't out yet.Maybe then 'they'll' get the message. Thank you

Or it could be like Mario's Picross on the SNES which Europe and Japan have had for years now on the VC. That the retail game is good enough for America and they don't need a cheaper version on Virtual Console as well.

I don't think many will disagree with you that the slow trickle of VC games is terrible, but there is not much that anyone can do. I think we would all love for Nintendo to listen to our request for VC games and have them out ASAP, but they are trying to spread these releases out for as long as possible. I just try to remind myself that 1 game a week is better than the 0 game weeks we had this past summer. The only thing I can think to help change the VC release schedule is to keep purchasing more VC games (even non-Nintendo titles) and hopefully it will see more support.

I hope not. Even though I liked SSB, it just seems stale compared to Melee and Brawl. I hope it's Super Mario Kart because that's one game that'll never get old.

North America has it worse than anyone else really. At least you guys in Europe don't have to wait for Smash and Pilotwings. In fact I'm betting you'll get Mario Kart soon too, as you seem to get Nintendo published games every few months. Meanwhile NOA doesn't want our money for some reason. Last first party VC game we got was all the way back in May. People in Europe have no right to complain but North Americans definately have an axe to grind.
