I would've purchased a Wii points card immediately, if this had been the (VC) arcade version w/online multiplayer and had leaderboards. The WiiMote & Nunchuck setup would've functioned perfectly. Anyone disagree?

Yes, I disagree. Street Fighter II is a six button game. A WiiMote & Nunchuk setup does not have six buttons.
