Topic: Games that were removed that you wished you'd grabbed

As far as I know, all the DKC games are back on the Wii VC for all regions.

The DKC trilogy is available in Wii, they were removed but they put back when they put the trilogy in Wii U eshop.

That's good to know. Might pick them up in the future but when they removed them, I just bought the cartridges since I feared they wouldn't come back.

What games have been removed?

The only game I wanted was Mayhem in Monsterland, yet that game was available only in Europe.

TMNT!!!! And Turtles in Time!! It would be perfect to play those on the Wii U vc with the return points. I recently downloaded Prince of Persia on the wii vc, I could see that disappearing in the near future. I'm really butthurt that Rare and Nintendo couldn't come to an understanding. I really want to play Blast Corps again; such an original and quirky game!

Is it just me or are all Squaresoft games bar Final Fantasy (1) removed? Also compared to the PAL VC wiki list there are way less VC games available overall..? I only see 44 NES games and 20 SNES games.

@Nico87 I have seen a post similar like yours months ago. I think it is related to parental control in your Wii that´s because you see less than a half of the complete VC.

I suppose Mayhem in Monsterland. But it doesn't matter since I have a large number of other better games to play.

I transfer my games a few weeks ago (Wii to Wii U). You need to have the same country in both consoles to transfer them. The games I have kept in my Wii (not transferred to Wii U) are games I downloaded which aren`t available in Mexico region:

• Super C
• Karaoke Wii (I don`t remember true name)

And Yoshi`s Cookie it was keep in my Wii because it isn`t available to download in Wii U.

This 3 games remained in my Wii. All my Wii games that are now deleted are still now in my Wii U (like the Commodore game). I only wanted Sim City, Bloody Wolf and Silent Debuggers but I didn`t download that time. I have many games that now are unavailable in the service:

• Star Parodier
• TMNT
• all Commodore games
• Burger Time (Wiiware)
• Nectaris (Wiiware)
• Super Turrican 2
• Pitfall
• Final Fight 2 & 3 (but available with discount to update in Wii U mode)
• SF Alpha 2 (same than Final Fight)
  and I don`t remember if any other game I have that now is impossible to buy in Wii shop.

was the first Contra ever avail? weird the the other Contras you can get, but no original. Original Contra Best Contra.

@Samus7Killer The NES Contra has never been available on any of the Nintendo e-shops. I've never understood it either.

Not grabbing the C64 games on the Wii still smarts. Hope they come to Switch somehow
