As topic which now removed Wii VC games did you miss and wished you'd grabbed now looking back? For me it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES

I wish I had gotten Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 before they were suddenly yanked from the VC Shop Channel on Wii.

Also, R-Type.

I am fine with the Android - Arcade versions of R-Type and R-Type 2. (Both work fine with a controller).

I would be gutted if I didn't already have Ninja Spirit or Star Parodia though.

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

I was lucky enough to get all three DKC games before they were yanked so I fortunately have no games that I wish I had downloaded while they were available. I do hope those three games get added back to the Wii U VC some day though.

The DKC games for me. Why were they taken off?

Donkey Kong Country 2 & 3. I had played them on an emulator, but I took too long to give cash where cash was due. Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure would be another, but I got it on Genesis.

This is true for me, especially having played DKCR and thinking the only thing "off" was the controls...

I would need to see a list of games that were once on the VC but have been removed for one reason or another.

I would get these games if they would please announce their demise instead of just gone and you simply regret it.
