The Gaia trilogy isn't out because square is really dumb when it comes to digital services. Same reason we still don't have ActRaiser 2, either.

To be fair, ActRaiser 2 is pretty bad and not nearly as popular as the first game.

Well, they did give the player more moves and accordingly make the control more complicated.

EarthBound is still missing too but I know that's never going to happen.

i can do without SMW2...got it on 3ds ...what really hurts is starfox snes....loved that game to death.

I grew up playing the SNES version, so to me, playing with the GBA's altered sound effects makes it the Special Edition of Yoshi's Island.
(though I can't remember if the SNES version had the same flaw with the GBA, in that enemies can become "active" before they even appear on the screen)

Seriously. On Nintendo's facebook page people won't shut up about the game, even though they probably know the legal reasons behind it. It's so annoying, even though they have a point.

SMW2 and Starfox can't come due to Legal issues with the Super FX chip (From what I have heard someone who helped made the chip copyrighted it for himself or something), and the fact that emulation wouldn't feel right due to the wii's limitations.

As for the Square games, blame Enix. They waited 5 years to put Final Fantasy VI up, they probably will wait longer to put those games up. (I know Nintendo is the publisher in some areas, but that doesn't count!)

And for Mother? Well, I think Mother 1 is more likely due to the fact it isn't pop culture based like EB, but they still can't come due to the legal issues. Sure, they could change it, but wouldn't we all be sad if we couldn't have that epic Hippie music? That may never happen for a LONG time. Never say Never.

Thankfully I have Mother 1+2 as an import so I could personally care less about them being on the VC or not.

The only game not on there that I think should be is Dr. Mario 64. It seems like that game is very obscure, and the fact that the GB game is out in Europe now, there is no reason for this to not come to the VC! Mario party 3 would be nice. (And Guys, I played Mario Party 1 on an N64 before, and they were right about those rotation stick games. They hurt no matter what you play it on, and they are very hard to play, too.)
