Topic: Favorite VC Game?

Anyone got a favorite VC game that they love to play? I have never bought a VC game for Wii, (yes i still play my Wii even though the Xbox One is out. Most would be expecting the Wii U but I never bought that.) I am planning to pick up Ocarina of Time. Classic games, anyone?

I love to play Streets of Rage (any of them), Monster World IV and KOF 99. I love a lot more games but they are one of my best.

Super Metroid, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Super Street Fighter II are the ones I play the most.

I love the Real Bout Fatal Fury trilogy (particularly RBFF1 and RBFFS) also I like Fatal Fury 3 and Fatal Fury Special, Castlevania Rondo of Blood is a jewel I like very much and don't forget Sengoku 3, Super Mario games and Wild Guns for the SNES.

Zelda games (the two from the N64) and a A Link to the Past (SNES) are much fun to play also.

Donkey Kong Country trilogy (SNES) is worth checking out if you managed to get them before the removal

There are lot's of quality games in the Wii Virtual Console which makes difficult to made a choice.

Ys Book I & II

I play a lot Super Star Soldier and Soldier Parodier, even Salamander of NES.

Super Punch Out. Pummeling Gabby Jay never gets old for me

I only pay 60hz games (And I am in the PAL region so that excludes most of the VC).

I mostly play :

Blazing Lasers
Rondo of Blood
Gate of Thunder

(I did play star parodier but I am on level 7 and it is really laggy the emulation).

I still play IK+ (C64). Although I preferred the Amiga Version, I get my fix from playing this on Wii VC.
Also F-Zero X (N64), Wave Race (N64), and Super Mario 64 (N64) are all fantastic games (slight nostalgic bias)

I realise you wanted me to name just ONE game and I ended up posting a considerable chunk of my VC purchases, but it's hard to choose just ONE!

Contra III: The Alien Wars and Super Mario World _{Dozens of games i still want to play there though.}

I don't have many VC games, at least in part because used retail Wii games are so cheap on ebay that VC games don't seem such a great deal. But I will say I had fun with and spent a lot of time on Paper Mario. Other VC games I've tried: I found Super Metroid too difficult for my liking, 1942 got boring rather quickly, and without a human partner I can't do Smash Bros justice.

Well, EarthBound, but that's Wii U. I only ever downloaded two Wii VC games.

You can't go wrong with (Super C) or the original (Castlevania).

Ooooh. Hard choice between Super Metroid or Castlevania: Rondo of Blood for my favorite Virtual Console game on the Wii.
Super Metroid just barely takes top honors.
