I miss those games. The first two were great but I missed out on the third on N64. They really had a disturbing sense of humor about them. I love that kind of wacky stuff! They should make some new games with him and revitalize the series. They'd probably have to stay 2-D to be any good though.

Apparently he is making a comeback, as the creator of Earthworm Jim had signed a deal (with who I don't know) which will lead to new cartoon series, a movie and a new game. But the details are very scarce at the moment, so I don't know if this is true or not.
I hope it is true, I'd love to see Earthworm Jim back into the gaming world.

Yeah I think he did appear in Clayfighter actually. I heard the company that made those games went out of buisiness though so that doesn't look good for the chances of new EW Jim games. It sure was neat back in the day though. I think It's the first game I played that looked really weird and like something a crack head would come up with. Good times.

Far as I can tell, the company (Interplay) is still in business. I hear they plan to release Earthworm Jim 2 and Clayfighter 63 1/3 on VC. Kinda hoping they also release this Commodore 64 game called Tass Times in Tonetown.
After the horrible POS that was Earthworm Jim for the N64, I don't know if I want to see him come back. EWJ 1 and 2 were great but thinking about the N64 one still pisses me off.

interplay was fantastic company in the 90ies and earthworm jim was one of the best games of its time besides on vc i'd love new games with him out there
Funnily enough mentioning Earthworm Jim, my girlfriend just gave me a surprise present today. Earthworm Jim for the GBA, I didn't even know it was released on that system. I said how come you bought me this? She said well you like to play that game at home so now you can have Earthworm Jim on the go. She said to me she even had a go on it herself and I asked what she thought of it. Guess what she said....Groovy! .
Ah I love her.
