Yes, the "mistake." As I said, I still refuse to believe that a game can be rated by mistake. It takes intentional effort to get a game released, and money to boot. Should we REALLY be so quick to believe that this expenditure occured unintentionally? I don't think so.

You'll get a drop-down menu with two choices: "Out Now" and "Coming Soon." We've been talking about the latter. Welcome to NLife!

I thought Michael Jackson owened to the rights to the Beatles' song catalogue (or part of it?), so it might be his estate and lawyers that they have to worry about.

From what I know, he owns most of them. It for the most part doesn't make a difference, though with his own game coming to VC (or did it already? I don't pay attention to terrible games), it could mean it's even more likely that they'd know about this.

@Adam: actually, that could also mean they'd be more likely to OK a re-release of EB provided they get their licensing fee(s). anything to pay off his debts, y'know? lol

I don't imagine Nintendo would do that, and I would also think they'd want the Beatles credited in the game, which they'd probably also not like, but anything is possible. My fingers remained cross until the Virtual Console is retired, but I'm not holding my breath.

meh, it was bound the happen sooner or later, really. I was actually disappointed it was still up there for so long.

Everyone should just import Mother 1+2, its usually pretty cheap these days. Its wonderful

Like i kept saying, if it was never released on the Japanese virtual console, why would anyone here be expecting it to come?

Yea, everyone should just import two games whose language they cannot comprehend.

Just checked Play-Asia, and the import price is actually pretty reasonable. I might pick it up myself sometime.(too bad Mother 3 is out of print)

I wish it weren't too late to learn. I was seriously considering it before the last Mother 3 translation project was announced. There were translation projects before that looked like they'd never finish.

Well, then you could always get a translation patch or a guide if you don't wanna learn the language.

Yea, I did that about a million years ago. That's why I said I was considering it before the last translation project was announced. I'd love to learn the language if it were at all practical, but I don't have the time or resources to put into learning an entire alien language. Language acquisition only gets much harder with age, and without a lot of spare time to work on it, time I'd rather spend playing the game in my own language, not to mention lots of other games, it's pretty much impossible for me. Oh well, god made emulators for a reason.

As for MJ owning the Beatles' rights, I thought he had to sell them to pay some of his legal fees.
