No chance for Dreamcast support this generation. However, unless Nintendo tries to pull a Wii in terms of hardrive again, I'm pretty sure we'll get Sega Dreamcast support.
Next -gen hopefully will have Dreamcast AND Gamecube. And if nintendo actually makes a hardrive then possibly wii games.
I would prefer GameCube and Wii games to still be backwards compatible with the next system.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Colecovision would be cool. I'm still miffed my folks sold my Colecovision (with Atari adapter) at a yard sale before they up'd and moved this last time. But honestly ... if the VC never releases MULE or Mail Order Monsters, I will consider the VC a failure.

Yep. The move by Sony to not install backwards compatability with the PS2 into the PS3 was a jerk move, entirely motivated by greed. If Nintendo does the same thing, I'll buy an extra Wii (like I bought a spare PS2) and move to another console.

There are thousands of Commodore 64 games; to pin the Virtual Console's success on just two of them being released... well, thats too specific isn't it?
And M.U.L.E may well end up being released on the NES instead. Is there much difference between the NES and the C64 versions?
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
That would be nice to have Dreamcast titles on the VC. I thought both Power Stone games (both of which I played on Power Stone Collection for the PSP) were enjoyable games.
Dreamcast Titles can't be on the vc due to the size of games. The only way Dreamcast games make it to the vc is when Nintendo releases a next generation system. No one knows when that will happen at this time.
The C64 has a huge game library and it is not reasonable for having all the games making it in the vc.
It's not like all Dreamcast games would be too big, I know there were a decent amount that could fit the Wii's memory limit. I think they just don't want to add a console unless they can add the largest game as well.
