Are you nitpicking? Don't. NG is only NOA's fault in terms of it's release date, and that's on 3DS. Tecmo is the one who owns the game so they could have started the delay for whatever reason. With these it's Nintendo as they own the games. Besides, it's not like the eshop is completely dead, we have other games coming like crashmo. I was just a little bummed as nothing else came instead of NG.

I hope this is not so that they can re-release them as WiiU Virtual Console titles. That, to me, would imply that we won't be able to upgrade our existing VC library and we'd have to rebuy everything again. I don't think Nintendo understands that digital titles aren't physical media. We understand when we can't play our N64 cartridges on a Gamecube. The reason we bought the games digitally (and at premium rates compared to compilations) was so that we wouldn't have to rebuy them every generation.

It's been removed before. Actually more than once. Every time people over react, like they forgot it happened.

Well, it's a good thing I own the original carts for the first and third games and downloaded the second game on VC years ago, so I'm all set; I do feel bad for those that haven't got a chance to play them, though

This seriously is so lame. When I heard about Europe getting them removed next week, I considered buying at least the original before next week since I assumed North America would do the same. Little did I know Nintendo would remove them from the North American eShop, without notice, before the specified European date. Seriously, why?

they WILL come back for sure.
my guess is that Nintendi will release them as upgraded HD versions for Wii U's virtual console.
why? well, the original DKC trilogy looks like utter sh*t on flat screens thanks to the prerendered graphics

VC should be winning more new titles and not losing them.
What happened, Nintendo? Let us know.

I've heard some rumors that many other first party Virtual Console titles will be removed in the next month, hopefully this isn't the case.

I really wish there could have been a warning for NA too, I would have got all three without hesitation. Well, should have just got them years ago like I wanted to..... sigh

@Token_Girl: Yeah I emailed them too and got a similar response. I didn't get a link to the VC though. Guess the person that emailed me figured that I checked it pretty regularly.

You should asked who is that "appropiate people" and ask them to contact them.

Kinda sucks they took them off without warning. I have been debating for awhile now on getting at least the first one on VC but I guess by them removing it that solved that problem. Guess I will just look for the original cartridge.
