Just downloaded my first VC game (R-type), and is it me or is the display zoomed in way too much?
I have a 32' HD ready tv, widescreen I have tried various display options, the "correct" one (480p), 480i, 576i and also 16:9 and 4:3, to no avail It makes an already difficult game even harder!
Which version is it, the TG-16 one? Correct aspect ratio will be 4:3, and it looks normal to me. Either you've not played the game in a long time and don't remember the sizes of on-screen objects (roughly the same as Gradius) or your TV has some kind of zoom function turned on.
