If TMNT got released for VC, is there any chance of DuckTales and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers for the NES coming out on VC in the future given these games' popularity and the fact that Nintendo is running out of top choices to release on VC?

I'd love for either to happen...they were both among my favorite games growing up. But I guess Disney isn't interested in renewing Capcom's license to release them.

I have no idea why, though. The work has all been done, the games were never in any danger of damaging Disney's reputation (nor would they now), and basically all Disney would have to do is sign a contract and soak up some sweet royalties.

But...yeah. I doubt they'll come. I'd love to see them, but I'm not optimistic.

I don't think so but I'd REALLY like to get Castle of Illusion if at all possible. I loved that game.

While i'd love it (the Duck Tales games were awesome, and the Sega Mickey games were solid platformers too), I'd expect not if only for the legal red tape they'd have to go through with the licensing issues. There may also be conflicts with whoever has the Disney-gaming license now, such as if it's an exclusive deal they (Disney) may not be able to side-contract with Capcom even though it wouldn't involve new games. The cost involved (even if it's minimal) may be prohibitive, as no matter how popular the Disney games might be on VC they may not see it as cost-feasible.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

It is possible. Disney licensed Capcom games were re-released on the GBA. i.e. Magical Quest, Magical Quest 2 (Great Circus Mystery), and Aladdin.

I think it's possible. Disney is doing software development in-house via a new division, so if Capcom is interested in approaching them I think they could do a deal.
