Honestly, Star Fox shouldn't be too hard to put on there. The rom runs in all the emulators I've used perfectly. Maybe Nintendo's just a bunch of lazy - well you know
But I hear you, Contra should've been long on there, and there's no logical reason to not have SMK on there when MK64 is on.
Nintendo is probably just hanging on to SF and SMK (not to mention Yoshi's Island) so they have some first-party games left to release on special occasions. But I don't understand what Contra has to do with it. Nintendo didn't make Contra, so it's not entirely up to them. Plus, there are a ton of games not out. Patience is key.
The befuddling thing is that Super C was released before Contra - Maybe to introduce people to an easier version? I dno, but it should be out by now. Contra is much better than Super C.
I keep reading that Super C is supposed to be the easiest game, but I don't understand where you guys get that from! A friend I played it quite a few times and can't even get to the end of level 1. Contra III (SNES) is much easier, and we got pretty far into level 3 a few times.

Yeah, I can get much farther in the first Contra... (Stage 4-2) mainly because of the 99 life cheat Super C was harder because you only get a 30 life cheat.
Contra Cheats Infinite Lives To start the game with infinite lives press UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, A, B, A, B, Select and then Start at the demo screen (when it says "Jungle"). I've never tried this one, but it works according to IGN.
30 lives and 3 continues (90 lives total) To start the game with 30 extra lives press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, B, A at the title screen, then press Start for a one-player game or Select and Start for a two-player game.

Why is there no contra? I just went on the shop and tried to download it, but it was nowhere to be found! Yet they have Contras 2 and 3 on there?......Why?
I've Never played contra or contra 2, but i have contra 3 the alien wars and i use to have super c. i also have operation c, but that is not the topic. I think that they should put those games on there. those are the originals, and they are not putting thaem on there? interesting.
Also, is contra 3 the same as contra 3 the alien wars? IDK.
Super Mario Kart is one of the best games I've ever played. Star Fox is good. But it's one of the few Nintendo series where I don't think an NES / SNES title is the best in the series. There are some things I like better about it than the 64 version, but ultimately the insane difficulty of it makes it a little less satisfying -- though I seem to remember being a lot better at it when I was a kid... perhaps I just lied about beating it so often that I now believed I did.
Although I will download all three when they arrive, I do hope the original NES Contra (not arcade Contra); ...Probotector to us, comes first. It is after all my very first NES game.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
