Supposedly, no one's supporting the Wii VC now except for SNK. Nobody's even sure about the future about the Wii and Wii U VC.

Rest in Peace ShiftyLook
I keep these Nintendo Life threads updated: Missing 3DS VC and Wii U VC between regions, Full of list first party Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Gear games missing from the 3DS VC, and Full of list first party Game Boy Advance games missing from the Wii U VC.

Well clearly you weren't looking hard enough for the gems. Sorry Nintendo couldn't fulfill your standards, if you don't like it, don't play it. :)

Oh trust me I looked everywhere & all I see is shovel ware with only a handful of good 1st party games that are INFERIOR to the gamecube!:P

Okay then that's your opinion, I didn't ask for it, but once again, don't like it? Don't play it. :)

I have to play it because I was told you have to love wii to be a nintendo fan which is very stupid!:p

Who told you that? No man, just play what you want and not care what people think, there's no official rules to be a fan of this or that, just be yourself. Now lets stop quoting each other, we're getting VERY off topic on this thread. :)

Not including Mega Man 6 & 7, or even Mega man 8 as a possible WiiWare release(meh? I'm sure Dr.Lights hilarious voice acting and Astro Man's barber-tranny chit chat might make it worth your while.lol) would be a bit of a bummer. I mean Crapcom just announced that they plan on reasing all 6 MM games on the 3DS's VC....But for people like me who prefer to play these games the way they were intended on the big screen and not on some dinky(yet awesome. :p ) little handheld aren't going to be satisfyed.

MM6 is going to be the next Retro buy I snag on cart, because I'm not waiting any longer. But MM7....Well, itgoes for a whoppin' $100....Gonna hold off on that bad boy, then again i might just roll out Autobots style and just Buy the bloody thing to finish off the Classic Mega Man series and finally be done with it. :p

You can always see if you can score a copy of the Megaman Anniversary Collection on Gamecube, of course than you will have to deal with the reversed buttons.

I actually had the Gamecube Mega Man Anniversary collection and it was one hell of an awful experience. :p Using the GCN Controller to play NES Mega Man games felt all sorts of wrong. The stupid A & B button swap easily breaks the experience, and using the Analog stick or the akward Micro Tiny & Stiff D-pad didn't feel right either. I'd imagine it's better on the PS2, but either way i want a retro feeling experience and you just can't get that with a gamecube or PS2 controller. I'll spend that extra cash and just cave in and settle for the carts! B-)

I wan't both of these experiences to be just right considering that will be it for the Classic franchise, until a MM11 rears it's inevitable head. The only classic mega man experience i didn't exactly enjoy was MM10 as I've mentioned before. :p The rest ranged from kickin' to extra crispy.lol

You better send over some of those shnazzy' Christmas Pixel tacos ogo, or Santa will be filling your christmas stocking full of Michael Bay Transformers movies! :p And ya, i'm pretty sure there's no fix for the B & A button swap disaster. Old fashioned retro cartyness' it tis' indeedly! Besides, the Anniversary collection aside from the button problem isn't it's only problem. The Mega Man NES games don't sound right. The music seems almost echo-ish and flat sounding, and Mega Man 8 for some odd ball reason has super soft graphics. If i had to, i'd go for the PS2 version...But even then, i still wouldn't.lol

I'd prefer AT LEAST MM7 on wii VC. that's all. Though then again if they released MM1-10 on the Wii U (I even asked for that in their survey), that would be amazing

Vedy' nice. Rich, and moist. Dr. Wily would be a proud pappa indeed. Durp!

@TheDreamingHawkster
YES. MM7 on the VC please. That would save me about $100. :p Then again, having it in my collection would be just too megatastic. I get the feeling that it will truly be one of my favorite Mega Man games. And again, 8 on the WiiWare would be a nice zittle' touch as well. 8 would of been so much better had it ditched mega man's in-game voice, the cut scenes, the terrible dismal depressing intro cut scene tune and most of the horrible elevator-Ambient bubble gum techno stage music. I don't exactly need it, but it would complete the Wii Mega Collection! Oh and they could released the Japan SNES release of Mega Man & Bass. I finished it on the GBA a year or so back. Pretty great actually! It's only real weakness was the lack luster soundrack.

Though if you can, try fighting for a wii U compalation of all 10 games. That's what I want.

I would really want a compilation of all 10 Mega Man X games for Wii U (X3 must be the excellent SNES version not the bastardized PSX one)

I don't think I did a great job filling out my survey. My answers may have been too impulsive.

I thought there was only 9 (and that's counting the RPG spinoff Command Mission)?

The Virtual Console might be the best digital store in the history of gaming, at least in terms of the sheer amount of classic games. It really is sad how Nintendo mismanaged and neglected it.
