I'm not sure if there's any more Wii VC projects in the works at all with our online group at this point. I will say that they've at times just popped out of no where in the past so my lack of knowledge shouldn't be taken as gospel. These projjects aren't on our usual product roadmap.

I'm hoping the group is looking at 3DS stuff though. We've made some requests for a few things to be explored based upon feedback here. We'll see what happens.

Their choices of games to release weren't always great. Even if it did have online play, I'd rather they have released Mega Man 7 instead of SSFII on Genesis. And I think many of their SNES games still unreleased on Wii VC would have been preferable than the bunch of arcade games they released.

Yep, thanks for dropping the ball on the VC Nintendo. Perhaps if the VC was linked directly to the Wii U eShop (like it should be), Capcom would be more interested in continuing support.

Thank capcom for dropping wii u support all together by:
1.almost destroying the vc arcade with awful games
2.never releasing megaman 6 on wii (I don't care how bad people say it is ) but instead they released it on the 3ds vc FIRST
& 3.never, EVER, supporting wii u outside of moster hunter which sells like crap in the west. (examples: psp monter huter games & Moster hunter tri on the wii)

Why would any company make any plans for the VC when it appears that Nintendo doesn't even know what they are going to do with the Wii U VC moving forward.

I hope they release at least the SNES version of Mega Man X3 because I didn´t like the PS1 version because they bastardized the music (sadly that was the one included in the MMX Anthology) .

Same here, but let's hope they can put MM X3 and MM7 on 3DS, and maybe legends and MM8

The Virtual Console might be the best digital store in the history of gaming, at least in terms of the sheer amount of classic games. It really is sad how Nintendo mismanaged and neglected it.

Well sorry to disappoint you! I for one am getting REALLY SICK of portable gaming & p.s. megaman 64 can't come because of either that damn expansion pak for megaman 64 or the licencing in megaman 64 & as for megaman 8, the sega saturn is hard to emulate so we cant get that game on the wii u vc either.

I could see if you were sick of smartphone gameing, but portable gaming in general is better IMO since you can take a 3DS or Vita everywhere, but not a WiiU, but I think we can have both next gen if Nintendo releases the 4DS with a cable that can hook up to the TV, so you can play G&W, GB, GBA, DS (with GamePad) 3DS (with GamePad), NeoGeo Pocket in your home and Arcade, NES, SNES, N64, GCN, Wii (with CPP controls), WiiU, (with the 2 screens already there), SMS, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega DreamCast, NeoGeo, TurboGraphix, on the go so it would have the best of both worlds, and I honestly would play more on the go

Well again, sorry to disappoint you! Nintendo gamers get high profile portable games every day but wii/wii u get nothing!
So I can't like consoles more than portables?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I honestly would sit on a couch with a tv than playing on the go. That being said as much as I like console gaming better than portable gaming, I think the wii is the worst nintendo home console (minus the virtual boy)

I only buy Gameboy VC on 3Ds. I like to keep them seperate. Console VC stays on my Wii U.

The Nintendo eShop updates every Thursday and retail games release on certain days, but I fail to see a new game in stores every day. Virtual or Retail. If we did, Nintendo Life would be filled to the brim with daily 3DS game reviews.

Wii already has a vast assortment of downloadable and retail games. Wii U JUST came out, give it a break man!
