Topic: A challenge - get all your games over an hour play time on the Nintendo Channel records

You spent money on them so you may as well play them. Even the crap ones. Even the ones you've deleted swearing never to play again. Just the VC and WiiWare games, not the other channels. And no cheating by leaving the game to run while you're away.

I only have a few left to do. Chronos Twins is going to be hard to do. Actually, I restarted and its not too bad. The early levels are fun but it gets annoying later.

the Nintendo Channel doesn't record everything properly, though -- there's a few games that i've played for far longer than it tries to tell me i have, lol. if it was entirely accurate, this wouldn't be a bad challenge, though. :3

But an hour at least puts them on the list, right? Well, I'm not playing Ninja Gaiden for over an hour... Other than that this sounds fun. (:3=

Oh, maybe it's different from last time I checked... I really haven't touched the Nintendo Channel for a long while, so I forgot how it works I guess.

edit: Oh wait I just realized, I'm probably thinking of when you rate games. Can't rate 'em unless you play for a hour

Yeah, there's some of mine on the list that say like 2 minutes, and i've definitely played them more than that.

I have 5 min left for Castlevania 2
and I have a few others

I've played Landstalker for 1 minute, according to the Nintendo channel, but I think it's lying because I doubt I would have wasted that much time on it.

I've played Samurai Warriors 3 for 68 hours. I think that might be a touch on the low side, but that's my most played game at any rate.

Mind you, the Nintendo Channel fails to record a whole bunch of games I've spent a lot of time with.

Even with its recording problems I don't think I have a VC/WiiWare game played for less than an hour. Well except for Sonic 3 but its locked on to Sonic and Knuckles so the whole of Sonic 3 is already on S&K so I wouldn't need to play both. Right? Even games I hate I gave a chance by playing at least a couple hours on them (even though it killed me) I'm looking at you SMB2 and LTTP. 2 games I despise and want my money back. Others are just plain bleh but I got over it.

EDIT: And my most played VC/WiiWare game is LOZ:MM with 77 hours. And I believe thats almost 100% accurate.

If you check your messages on your Wii, it tells you how much time you've played games. But it stops once you've played ten channels and just lists the channels you played after that as Others which the Nintendo Channel doesn't record.

What I like to do is to change the date once I played ten channels to a previous date where I haven't reached ten channels yet and just play from there, changing the date back the next day.

It's told me that I've watched Netflix for 25 hours in one day!

Yeah, if you start playing one day and it goes over to midnight then its still counted as the next day.
