1. Physio using wii

Hi all

Im recovering from a broken wrist of which a metal plate has been inserted, Its been 7 weeks since my accident. I was talking to ,my physio and she said playing the sports games on the wii would help my wrist movement! The controller is a bit heavy for now but i manage to play golf and bowling so far. Im taking one step at a time. Its great excersise for me and will play a part in my recovery:) Cant wait to try boxing!!!! :)

Haha, thats great :$

Sorry to hear about the accident, I actually broke my wrist when I was half way through zelda on the gamecube (no, not whilst playing it) but I couldn't hold a controller for 6 weeks, it was hell!

I'll have to remember that for the next time I break it ;)

Maybe you'd wanna type up your experience when your hands are better, we'll post an article about the Physio benifits of Wii! Maybe snap some photos too..

Not only does it make you lose weight, get fitter but speeds up recovery too. No wonder Nintendo are pushing the active aspecs of the Wii more so than the games. Maybe we will see a Nintendo branded gym one of these days, it would be great for press anyhow.

But yeah, keep us updated coolcath, I'm really interested in how much it really does help.
