Evening!

Browsing around this afternoon I came across a pretty neat MSN bot class written in PHP, as we already had abit of a IRC bot I've joined them together to make a bot that sits on IRC and MSN.

What do I need to do?
Add skinback@nintendolife.com to your MSN contacts, and once he appears online say hi.

You can then query the robot about the website, for example:

You: red steel screenshots
Bot: Red Steel (Wii) .:. 12 Screenshots .:. www.nintendolife.com?r=42

You: wario world release date
Bot: Wario World (GCN) .:. 20th Jun 2003 (UK/EU), 24th Jun 2003 (USA), 27th May 2004 (JPN)

You: brain age price
Bot: Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? (DS) for 16.99 GBP from Amazon.co.uk (www.nintendolife.com?pd=9)

You: mario kart
Bot: Mario Kart DS (DS) .:. www.nintendolife.com?r=56

etc.. It's not that complete, or very clever just yet, but have a play! Let me know if you can think of any useful commands you'd like to see.

Whats with the name?
Nothing, but if you can think of a better, more Nintendo name for the bot, let me know!

Haha... the bot should be online all the time However, if it logs out and back in it's usually me changing something

There was the ROB peripheral for the NES and the ROB robot in the starfox series
