I'm appauled at this video. Does anyone else agree? If so, rate one star, because this guy is a moron.

Or, you could just accept that some people have opinions which may not tie up with yours.
Personally, I think that the FPS genre hasn' really moved on at all since Doom 2 and that the genre as a whole is formulaic to the nth degree.
People have been known to disagree with me on this.

Isn't the Irate Gamer just an AVGN knock-off? I don't follow either, but they seem pretty similar.
As for the video, ZAMN is one of my favorite games of all time, so you can guess my thoughts on it.

If you dislike the Irate Gamer, Kero Kero (or anyone), head to youtube and look up the Third Rate Gamer.

I'm not a fan of First Person 'Shooters'...But metroid Prime 3(along with the Metroid Prime Trilogy) which are FP Adventures 'are' an advancement. especially when we're talking how amazing the Wii Controls are. it breaths new life into the Genre, making dual analog clunky, boring, and dated...where as wii controls are immersive, fun, has better accuracy, innovative and more realistic obviously. Key board and mouse is just not enganging, and it's pure cheap. The Wii has set the standard and there's no going back for me....Still though, i dont care for FP 'Shooters' even if they have IR/Curser Motion Controls...I want more FP Adventures!
Also, i'd LOVE to see a first person Survival Horror game with IR/Curser and motion controls of course....I think the only real FP type game that has the most realistic FP View and so on would have to be Mirrors Edge....yet i hated that game ;p

Well, first of all, Zombies Ate My Neighbors isn't a first-person shooter. And second of all, yes, I understand that people have other opinions, but so do I. Isn't the fact that I'm expressing an opinion toward a review reflect on the fact that we all have our own opinions?
9. Posted: Sun 4th Oct 2009 02:37 BST
Yes, we are all entitled to our own opinions. We can't expect everyone to think equally (highly or lowly) on the same subject of whatever (game, movie, music, book, etc....).Yes, KeroKeroCola, that does reflect that we have different opinions, and I respect other's points of view.

His reasons for not liking the game seem pretty weak.
"Too hard, uses passwords, and only gives you three lives to start with!"
(Makes me think of Megaman.)
Could be a publicity stunt.

For Irate Gamer, that's very shallow!@IrateGamer (I'm a very brave soul) - You can't just say a game is bad because it's hard. Challenge is good for you. Most games have three lives to start with in the first place, so I don't understand why a big deal should be made about it in this game. Also, passwords are used in video games for a reason: in case it's looooooooooooooooong. So you don't have to worry about finishing it in one sitting. So, IrateGamer = Shallow Failure among Reviewers. That's all I have to say for the time being, and it's not to be a jerk, it's to give constructive criticism.EDIT: I hope it sounded like constructive criticism, and not being defensiveEDIT2: I respect opinions, and I'm trying to bash his, I'm just expressing my reaction to that one opinionEDIT3: I feel like a jerk

Just watched another of his videos... He apparently hated Aladdin for the SNES as well... reasons?
1) Too hard2) Hates the monkey3) Last boss is too easy
Yeaaaaah. I'm starting to think he's just pretending to be terrible and hates on good games for no real reason, in a poor attempt to be funny, while trying to get a rise out of people and earn subs/views.
13. Posted: Sun 4th Oct 2009 04:17 BST
OMG, he hated Aladdin, too????? Well, I don't want to find myself "bashing" him again, so, I'll just leave him (unfortunately) be.

And I'm not gonna watch his Aladdin video, his negative commentary on ZAMN was torture enough.
15. Posted: Sun 4th Oct 2009 04:21 BST
I have never even played Zombies Ate My Neighbors before.
16. Posted: Sun 4th Oct 2009 04:22 BST
Me neither, but I'm convinced it's a good game. Where's a decently priced copy on eBay when you need one? 'cause I am that interested in it.

I never did enjoy ZAMN, but i'm not gonna bash it. The Irate Gamer is not very entertaining either.
18. Posted: Sun 4th Oct 2009 04:27 BST
I agree, The Irate Gamer's jokes aren't even funny. He doesn't even deserve to wear a poltergeist outfit with the Ghostbusters logo on it. He should've thrown himself in that machine, instead of treating it like dirt for totally inane reasons. [Oh, no, I'm mean again! DX]The only truly funny reviewer on YouTube I find is eerT gnitanirU [I'd spell out his username, but I don't want to be the inappropriate type]. No other reviewer on YouTube makes me laugh 100% on his video reviews from beginning to end, imo.

I went onto Youtube today to watch a few reviews... and they were all people screaming at a video camera saying that the game sucked. It's really just sickening...On another note, ZAMN is a very hard game, and it can get frustrating when all of the neighbours you have to save die for the tenth time. But this game really shines when you've got a second player to throw zombie killing popsicles with. That review is not meant to be taken seriously, so don't. This game was made when gamers were made out of tougher stuff, I've even grown soft...

I encourage all to try out Zombies Ate My Neighbors, especially with a second player (2 player ZAMN is just way too fun.)
The game should be released on the virtual console soon (hopefully.)
