Played it on a PC before...got addicted pretty quick. Then I got a Namco Museum with it on it, so I have very little reason to download it Still one of my fav arcade games though!
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon! Cipher Trailer
they had it on the computers at school years ago... i liked playing it when my work was done and the teachers were otherwise occupied, lol. if you've got nothing better to play, it's not bad.

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
I played this a little in the arcades way back and I have Namco Museum for GCN, so I played it again recently. I've never really got into it. Pac-Man is better, but I'm still not a big fan. Galaga, on the other hand...I LOVE Galaga.
I have Dig Dug and Dig Dug Arrangement on Namco Museum, and they're both excellent games. Dig Dug Arrangment along with the other arrangements need to be put on the VC Arcade.

I love Dig Dug, very fun and addicting game. Fave version is the Atari 2600 (the system i fell in love with the game on), followed closely by the arcade version (currently available on XBLA).
I love all dig dug games! Dig Dug, Dig Dug Arangment, Dig Dug 2, and Mr. Driller.....all some of my favorite games. Mr. Driller is the best dig dug game in my opinion, jeeeez that game is so addicting! you can play it for a gang of hours before you look at a clock once... i never played Dig Dug: Digging Strike for the ds however, i wonder if its any good....
I've been playing it since its arcade days and have always enjoyed it immensely. I have the GBA and GameCube versions of Namco Museum, and both versions are near-seamless translations of the arcade version. I'd highly recommend the game.
One of the first games I ever played. My brother, who is 7 years older than me was in college at the time, and had Dig Dug, Centipede, and Tapper and old Sierra games for his PC. I never played the arcade version though.
Namco Museum Remix is much better -- you get the arcade bezel artwork as a surround and it supports widescreen and 480p unlike the 50Hz (in PAL-land), 4:3 Gamecube game.
