just bought TMNT 1-2-3 for NES Nintendo. Ran through TMNT 1, looking forward to 2 and never played 3. Good times with the NES Nintendo.

Your 'ran' through TMNT 1? Dude that game slays me everytime I make it to the final stage.....I blame it on piss poor game design. :p It's one of the rare few games I gave up on like Blaster Master. Anyways, I picked up TMNT 1, 2, 3 last year for a killer deal on eBay and they were all fantastic condition. TMNT II is one of my favorite NES games, yet I too haven't played the third. I mean I feel kind of disconected with it, because the enemies seem to be from the later seasons(after 3)of the TMNT cartoons, and when I was a kid was all about Season 1 - 3. :p

To complete my TMNT game collection, all I need is TMNT IV: Turtles in time and TMNT III: Radical Rescue for the GB, which seems to be pretty damn rare.

Well I'm only 17 so this is kinda retro for me:
I bought a GBA SP and GB Micro and a whole bunch of GBA, GBC and GB games.
So far I ordered

  • Pokémon Yellow GB (had Blue as kid, mostly nostalgic)
  • Zelda Link's Awakening GB (never had it, always wanted it)
  • Star Wars Trilogy GBA (I loved that as kid so probably more the nostalgic factor)

And I'm planning to get much, much more.

Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

Why not wait for the VC version? Which will probably be cheaper if the game is rare?

Yeah, TMNT 3:The Manhattan Project was pretty good not as good as TMNT 2. The level designs were different enough and were pretty fun but yeah they seemed to borrow stuff from different parts of the TMNT universe like Tokka, Rahzar and Super Shredder from the second movie and a few characters like Ground Chuck and Dirtbag from the figures that came out around that time. The biggest WTF moment was Bebop and that ball and chain he had on his head. But yeah it could have been alot worst.

I'm hoping to pick up Pokemon Crystal today at the local half price books. They are an AWESOME place to find old games/systems. I got my Genesis there for 16 bucks! :)

I'm selling my Club Nintendo Mario Statue on eBay to buy a Game Boy Micro. I suppose I don't need it ( I already have a GBA SP) but it's hard not to like something that small and awesome. They're 80 bucks on eBay (brand new), but I've seen how much those Statues go for on eBay (sometimes upwards of $100).

I picked up 2 megadrive games -

Gods (bitmap brothers) - faster than the Atari ST version I remember playing way back when, but still fun and quite unique.
Skitchin' - wow, this game is, like, totally rad! - Road Rash with skates!

yeah true. the third one didnt do it for me neither. it was fun...but like you said i was disconnected from it.

turtle in time was excellent. easy but great fun.

but turtles 2 was the best thing on earth when it was out. i remember playing it at the arcade first, and whenit came out for NES, angels were singing, answering my prays.
childhood was so simple...
