I also bought a SNES. It can play PAL, NTSC and JPN games. It should arrive tomorrow.

How's that? Mine can only play NTSC! D:

I really don't have a clue. I bought it used, so I guess someone knew the trick. I was actually only looking for a NTSC SNES, so this was a nice bonus.

This evening I ordered The Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt for the SNES console for $9.99 on eBay, and it'll arrive in less than a week. I can't wait!

Shadow of the Colossus. Last one on the shelf, in aged shrink wrap, and it was cheap so I thought why not.

Do PS2 games count as retro already? :| If that's the case, early Wii games would count as retro too.

Got Paper Mario on VC in preparation for the NintendoLife Game Club. :D This is gonna be fun!

While there are recent games made for it, the system itself is older than the GC (GC games are mentioned here). Shadow of the Colossus may not be an old PS2 game that came a year just before the Wii, but an upgraded version of it will come in Spring 2011.

I bought Vigilante 8, a gold copy of Ocarina of Time for a friends birthday and a new copy of Super Mario 64 because mine has a LOT of sign of wear and tear.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Beat it in one day--talk about a wave of nostalgia. So simple but such a fun little romp through a game.

@Corb - Hope you like it...so many of the bosses are just gross-overpowered...either that or I'm underpowered or not understanding something stragetically. Almost every new boss is a sticking point for quite a while...

No Wii U yet.... Not enough first party wow titles to pull me in yet... And Nintendo's got a ways to go to repair the damage done during the Wii generation.
